I don’t care what anyone says I really like it. If it’s true it would be better if it could be Aussie made, but beggars can’t be choosers as there is nothing else available like this that isn’t 300,000. I have one of the last VXR VB Commodores and I love it. Yes it was made in Germany, I have had it 4 years now and it hasn’t missed a beat. Good acceleration, good around corners, looks good, sounds good for a V6. As I said beggars can’t be choosers. I just want a choice not just stupid SUV’s shoved down our throats. Just saying.
@@graemestevenson9956 I wasn’t comparing holdens by models, this is what was available to us at the time. I come from a Holden family dad owned an A9X two door hatch a Brock Group 3 and a Walkinshaw Group A, along with a FJ wagon, Statesman WB, HQ one tonne Ute, amongst others. We have owned a Brock group 3, VL, VN, and now the ZB VXR. We haven’t had an issue with hardly any of them I found the VL and VN a bit of a letdown and didn’t find their interiors up to standards and our VL had a heap of mechanical issues. As stated beggars can’t be choosers these days. We have SUVs shoved down our throats. My car is leased through work and it is up next year and there is nothing that is a reasonable price that I like so I don’t know what I am going to do. We will probably just keep the ZB and get a 4x4 twin cab of some sort. It would be nice if we just had choice, cars are so boring these days. 😉 I think if I had millions of dollars I would start a manufacturing business for affordable cool cars to a niche Australian Market. 😜😁
its clearly not an aussie care or it wouldnt be left hand drive so there is no connection to the original kingswood as it was made in Australia for aussies , the original was simple powerful comfortable and easy to service and repair i know i had one. there was nuthing on it i couldnt fix myself. and everything was built to last , at 56 i can easily say it was the best car i ever owned and i regret not keeping it , it was also the last car ever made with no antipolution b/s and no computers
As an Aussie I like it. It just goes to show what our traitor governments did to our car manufacturing with interdependence and the LIMA agreement. It could have been made here🇦🇺🦘. Pauline Hanson would not have let it happen. But it’s a great car and well done who made it.
@@peterbennett2167 Hi Peter, the easiest way I can do it via text would be to revert to my childhood self - *Vroom, Vroom, Vroom. Braaham, Braaham, Braahaaam. I hope that helped with the pronunciation.
@@peterbennett2167 Glad you got a laugh. Many people did back in the day because that is what my two brothers and I would shout out from the backseat whenever my dad tickled the throttle at the lights on his 1970 model - his smile was priceless.
I think the only way you could do a kingswood rebirth would be like dodge with the challenger. Have to be a more boxy shape saluting the old style . Hq in particular has potential for a modern car even 4 door with similar lines as the original alot like the Camaros did .
I hope GM realises we use right-hand drive out here before they start shipping. So much for GM promising to leave the GMH design team intact. As this will be a mass market product, they will be produced in Mexico, which is not a bad thing.
Even IF this were hypothetically legit, which I seriously doubt, but if it were .... why would GM replace the Camaro, or have two cars in the same bracket, especially with the stupid push for EV's and hybrids of late. If it really is a concept, I'm betting that is how it will stay. Plus, Kingswood's used to be a family car.
Holden, formerly known as General Motors-Holden, was an Australian subsidiary company of General Motors It was an Australian automobile importer, and exporter which sold cars under its own marque in Australia. The 164-year-old company ceased trading at the end of 2020. Don't get fooled by these AI videos. search Kingswood and you will see some different ones, all Fake. Also Torana Fakes out there.
This is fake… 1. The Holden badge doesn’t look like a Holden badge, 2. They mention 8 speed automatic but it shows a manual. Somebody has had too much spare time on photoshop me thinks… Modified Commodore.
For starters is left-hand drive but it's not a Holden it's a chev the Holden name plate no longer exists it comes with a four-cylinder are you kidding me you may as well have called it a Gemini
