The Seltos and Kona are similar size, similar mechanicslly. Very sharp styling on Seltos, controversial wheel well cladding on Kona. Nice flat floor..think much of the competition is slightly larger Tucson and Sportage twins. I would skip AWD and sunroof. Wheel locks? Get Weathertech or TuxMat rubber all weather mats plus a matching one for cargo load floor. Hold down options and compare with aforementioned Tucson and Sportage. All are nice vehicles..Hyundai-Kia have really sharpened their game! Tucson and Sportage are roomier and both have a 2.5L engine and 8 speed automatic instead of 2.0L/IRT(cvt) units. Deal carefully and my guess that these all are good value propositions. Very good road test presentation!!
Price is really high for a non-premium sub-compact SUV. Also, way too much piano black on the interior. Between the dust, fingerprints, and scratches, people hate it, but automakers don't seem to care. There's a lot of competition at this price point, especially with the all new 2025 Nissan Kicks and Chevy Equinox hitting dealers this month.
Very high price, must be dealer markup or that particular area. Here in Oregon I just looked up the same car and it's $24,456. Much cheaper than the one in this video.
The one in the video is the Sx model, which is 31,000. The 24,000 is the Lx model. There are also other models in between those two, the Lx is the least expensive model while the Sx is the most expensive model.
I’m in Canada, had a 2023 Kia Seltos EX, I hit a deer this Mah of 2024 …it was a 13 month old vehicle. Totalled it. Airbags didn’t deploy. That was concerning but maybe I didn’t hit the animal hard enough even thought it cancelled immediately. In total Canadian taxes I pay. 35,500.00 (there abouts). For the issues that Kia has experienced with engines having over heating issues and oil consumption I think I would spring for a RAV 4. Will last longer. This small suv did well in the harsh Canadian winter. It was light though, has a little but too much play in the wheel for a VERY WINDY province.
