I like the idea of the cab being wider. I don't care for the side windows if I can't open them. Nice color on it also. For me I can't get past the door because it looks like a w990. As a car haul myself I don't know if this would work just yet. I'm curious to see what Cottrell has planned for this new style. That roof cap is way too high for a Cottrell head rack. My current truck isn't a chop top so I am able to keep the bubble roof. The dash doesn't give me a wow factor either but I can work with it due to not having a choice lol.
All you negative people need to relax and accept it as it is because we all know that the powers to be think out of their wallets and eventually this style of truck will be pushing up Daisy’s as the aero cabs and automatic transmission’s take over. And the only place you’ll find something with a hood will be n s museum
The 589 won't be as well liked as it's ancestors, 389, 379, 359, it's better than not having a traditional styled truck at all. I think the BBCs could've been 135 for the extended hood, 125 for the short hood. The 2.1 meter cab wasn't designed for external air cleaners, Peterbilt designers had their work cut out for them.
Seen one in York, Nebraska at the Petro there getting fuel, was maroon with cream fenders. It was nice looking & all but just something about it idk. I ride 389 pete but something about 589 I wasn’t feeling.
things real nice for sure but peterbilt really is selln them selves short with that light grey interior and hard plastic everything!! at least if u get a kw u can still get all blacc VIT interior and it doesnt look as cheap
@@LamarA-bq1zz really the only thing thats pushing me towards ordering a w9 bro...if im buyin a peterbilt i dont want to feel line im in a cascadia inside. i mean i guess if u get a 579 its kind of ok buuut not on some higher end model than this. its ridiculous. it doesnt have tha stiching on tha roof or tha walls or anything...idk its a huge turn off for me at least at that asking price.
Kenworth W 900 is the only classic truck left at this point! It will be the only truck I purchaseunless they change that as well then I will never purchase a brand new truck if they do period This truck is a 567 with a 388 hood on it because it's not as long as a 389 it's shorter period period and they're trying to fool people telling them it's a 389 hood when it's a 388 hood.
