I configured Acedeck's CNC 2-in-1 Gear Drive Kit to four wheels. It was a drive kit with good performance, design, and build quality. Another advantage was that it could be fully utilized as a DIY build. St-type gear drives seem to be more and more satisfying than belt drives as it becomes easier to replace adapters and wheels. Love your teardown / installation videos, they're so methodical. Whenever I attempt putting a component back together, I end up having to buy a new board😊
@@KAMiJUINs you’re a great rider with passion. Your videos are great to watch for anyone over the world. Simple, effective, instructive and smart. A real good job. Love the spirit of the way you’re riding.
⚡🤙🏼 *The new Acedeck gear drive!* 🤙🏼⚡ Gear Drive + Street Wheels = 🤩🤩 Loved this edit, the music, the purple text to match the colour in the gear drive! 👌🏼 Colour reminded me of classic DC villian Joker 🤙🏼 My favourite villain! No screechy whine, pretty quiet. Sounded like revving the engine at 7mins 45sec 😂🔥🔥 35mph omg 😱 When you put the Madder Mad Wheelz on 🤩 Another great video 👏🏼👏🏼
Yeah, I'm reminded of the Joker after hearing you. lol~ Because I use a directional microphone when shooting, the sound is recorded louder than it actually is. But it was actually a really quiet gear drive. Installing the Mad Wheels will reduce the ground clearance a little, but it is expected to be cooler. Thanks, Bro~ :P
I just ordered an Element system a week ago and can’t wait for it to arrive and installed. That so awesome having them on an AWD, I was just thinking about this exact same set-up on the AWD 2022 belt version of the X1
As I mentioned in the video as well, when installing the kit on the 2022 version of X1, the edge of the deck should be slightly ground out as interference between the motor and the deck can occur during deep carving.
Hi..Kami..i bought this system for my Ares X1 V2 so looking forward to ripping around the streets...Great videos awsome little doggie great esk8 duo..👍
I wish I would have found this channel and others before buying my first electric skateboard last year. Went with Evolve. What a huge mistake that was. The deck isn’t made very well, and it you want parts, expect them to ship you used parts they sell on their site as new. The carbon fiber Ace Deck has me intrigued. Looks like a better quality board than what Evolve selIs. I don’t like the remote though. Evolve does have the best remote.
No, pairing is initialized by pressing and holding the remote control power button for about 7 seconds. Then, you can re-set various settings, where you can also set the diameter of the wheel.
Hey, what about the 8mm/10mm stepped axles on Evolve and similar trucks? There is the 10mm axle spacer for the Acedeck trucks, is that going to work with a stepped axle truck?
@KAMiJUINs Ok great thanks. Did you maybe also try to mount it physically on the omni trucks(I want to buy those)? Yes I know, mostly the street wheels come with 8mm bearings and spacers, this is why I was asking as I prefer street wheels and also have a bunch laying around. Also 8mm bearing are stronger/durable vs the 10mm ones because they have bigger balls and so higher load tolerance.
Hey Kami I measured my ownboard trucks and hole spacing is 30mm. Can you maybe confirm the spacing on the Omni Esk8 trucks is 25mm and the gear drive fits?
@@KAMiJUINs Thanks ✌️👌🙏, I asked because in this video I think you made a mistake at 10min49s saying the distance between the holes is 25mm, so I was confused 🧐😃
Just saw your video on the meepo ninja. Have not skated in 20yrs and was looking to get an esk8.. I don’t need something crazy fast off the line but was interested in range.. 6’1 250lb.. what would you recommend? Live in nyc
The gear drive of the N1 you're using is dedicated to AT wheels. In order to use the ST wheel, the gear drive kit introduced this time must be installed.
@@KAMiJUINs Was hoping for just an adaptor instead of buying an entire drive system which is costly to do cause u have drive sytem cost then wheel cost, pricey better just getting another board
