[206pro]Tutorial - Yarn doll hair for crochet doll (Part 1-Making hair) 

Tried it, and it works pretty well. Just keep in mind that you need to make it longer than you want it to be in the end, because it'll lose length. And you definitely need to start from the bottom and work your way up. I didint straighten mine because I liked the curly look for the specific doll, so I'm not sure how it is after that.

It’s better if you use a dog grooming brush then a comb is much faster!

Your supposed to start at the bottom when brushing. Also the whole start part you don't have to really do that you can easily make loops around a pencil that's what I did. Also you have to straighten the hair not if you want your doll to look like a troll that is .

I know that this is an old video but if you do this again you should try brushing it from bottom to top it makes it easier, also if you want it straighter you could take a flat iron to it ^-^ love this video btw I didn’t realize you could do this with yarn!

So if you cut longer pieces of yarn it will be longer right. But is it possible to comb it and not lose most of the yarn?

Start on the bottom of the yarn and you won't lose so much length.

Maybe using a cat brush is easier!:) Aswell as if you brush it from the bottom to the top you won't loose much hair and it stays pretty long I know this hair was for kakashi so you didnt need it But for future dolls a tip!:) Other than that veeery very nice video my love ❤

Hello Snailboo! I just wanted to let you know, brushing the hair for the doll would be a lot easier with a pet brush (like for brushing cats or dogs fur so that it won't mat and tangle) and then getting a hair straightener and straightening it like that (But it only works with acrylic yarn from what I've heard!) and it also looks a lot less ragged and more silky and straight (if you want curly use Mozekyto's pencil trick in the curly wig video) the combing process looks like it takes a long time, so I'm just trying to help! I'd suggest watching Mozekyto's videos about making Yarn Wefts and Wigs, or there are other RU-vidrs who have made videos similar to this process I'm talking about, I know these are two different kinds of dolls, but it just may help you with this process!
