Absolutely..watched a video the other day on a dodge ignition..60 min video first 45 minutes was some dude giving a history lesson on the origin of 15 amp fuses..I think he was just loving impressing himself..this guy here..TOP NOTCH
Replaced my water pump with ease thanks to this video. I did run into other issues throughout the process like breaking the temperature sensor clip. Also my timing belt was broken so that was a very tough process getting the belt around the pulley but it all worked out. My sensor clip comes tomorrow and we’re back on the road thanks my guy.

@@harisyoung4110 just work it on gently . Get the new pump on the bolts don’t tighten bolts all the way. Gently slip the belt on to the new part. Tighten bolts
Guy at Firestone told me this is a four hour job but I’d get my vehicle back in a day and a half. Also that the cost to replace this part would be $1900. Found this video, bought the part, saved $1700. Thanks boss.
My neighbor asked if I could do this job on their q5 as they were quoted 3 hours and $1500. All the vw videos I found scared me off until I found this one!

It took me 4 hours under the miami sun with water and shade breaks in between, first time for me on a q5. Everything came out perfect. Thank you for your quick teaching. Now, I need to figure out how to exchange a 2017 A4 B9 oil pan from plastic to aluminum.
Cannot thank you enough, without you I couldn't afford an audi, and there is rarely anyone who posts anything half as helpful as you! One comment for my install, autozone brand pump looked identical but could not get it into position, just close. Even tried with ratchet straps, nothing would get it. Without the coupling, it went in easy. Took the coupling and sanded it down slightly on each end, less than 10% removed between tips and o ring groove, and then it slipped in fine. My old pump was cracking, and one of the cracks was on the lip of the coupling spot, so I think the coupling was too long and putting pressure there. Not sure if maybe coupling was after market, but I can be sure that next time something breaks I'll be searching your channel again. World needs more heros like you!

He took 20 mins because he's experienced and found a way to do it faster, this job at least once took him 5 hours. Your mechanic charged you cheap still. 2jug G12 coolant 60$, water pump 400-550$ ranging depending on quality. 5-6 hour labor ranging 500-600$. 950$ is on cheap side at least here in toronto.

Just had my 2013 Q5 2.0t (My first experience with Audi) water pump (Plastic?🤣) replaced and the mechanic replaced it with a metal one, it was $1,100.00 ish. Also, had an OC and some bulbs and other minor things done. So far so good... Thanks for all your tips, I love your channel.

I've got the exact same issue with my 2013 Audi A4. Same oil leak and coolant leak problem. Dealership quoted me almost $2000 to replace it with the plastic OEM part. Found an aluminum water pump from ECS Tuning for $170. Definitely going to try the repair myself after watching this video
My oil is leaking from the timing chain cover gasket as well, but all my bolts are torqued to spec. The gasket looks visibly deteriorated. Is it as simple as removing the cover and slapping the new gasket on?
I have zero mechanics knowledge. I watched your video over and over, made notes, ordered a graf water pump and did this myself in about and hour and a half. Seriously, thank you for saving me $700 in labor.

This is the absolute worst. All he did plus all the proper steps and itd be a good job. This is just make a video. No cleaning sealing surfaces, used part, no new seals, coolant on the ground and no torqued bolts. Yeah, real profesional......not. 😂

Holy wow dude! i’ve been scouring the interwebs for how-to videos because I need to replace my thermostat and water pump, garages are saying it'll be at LEAST 6-7 hours labour maybe more and yet you've just done the water pump in 20 minutes!! Is the thermostat the part you took off which was to left of the water pump or is that an extra pain to get too? i’m deffo gonna give this a go myself seeing how quick you did it, obviously take me a lot longer as I won’t need to rush for a video but this has helped so much, thank you :)

Awesome video. U make it look like something I can handle. I have a p0128, so I changed the temp sensor without removing the pump which was challenging but managed. Cars fans are still running constantly, but temp is not hot. Running where it should. I’m going to replace the thermostat next. Before I do, do you think thats something I can do without removing pump? Thanks!
People needs to know that you are quoted 500$ labor by mechanics because national labor guide says 5 hours. He is done in 20 mins because he is good at this. He will still charge you 500$ labor because you are paying for his time, skill and experience that took place to do it in 20 minutes.

I replaced mine with help of this video. Also cleaned valves so I took the intake Manifold off. Took me about 3.5-4 hours all in all. Mainly bc I spent 45 mins looking for bolts I was dropping in the engine bay
Hello, I have a problem with Audi A6 3ltr 240hp diesel, 2010 model. after the engine warms up I can't accelerate more than 2500. it says do not exceed max. engine speed of 2,500rpm, and I have changed two sensors, it doesn't help , how long can it last here, the car has driven 240,000km in Norway. car workshop says it's a sensor. with dianose.
Nice video. Quick job! Just bought the 2.0 A6 for wife, (2016) with 61,000 miles. I get a faint smell of coolant and and was initially looking for the water pump up front. Thanks for the info as I'm sure it will be a job that needs to be done. Also, I noticed there is a screw on Mann oil filter vs the cartridge that is stock. Does this hold more oil? Benefits? My wife has a 2009 A4, has a interesting wine to it. Can't figure out where coming from, doesn't seem electrically, not engine codes, replaced hi press fuel seal. Would I be able have my car scheduled with you to do a whole inspection and service?

What up! Hope you can help. Long story short, I used bars to fix a newly installed radiator and now my cooling system is getting clogged somewhere. The thermostat is going over 190°, new oil is peaking at 266° (255° was peak with old oil in the past) , dsg temps at 226°. Where should I start? Thanks mk6 gti
