Ever since I learned about the crossbody bag from one of your previous videos I have used this to keep passports, money, phone etc close to hand on several trips travelling from UK LHR and LGW to several long haul destinations and it has worked perfectly - this was in addition to my travel backpack. Once I get on board, I pop it into my backpack and tuck it under my seat and it is ready for when we land and have to deal with immigration etc. I have invested in several different straps as well. Thank you so much for that.

Hi! Someone posted on another channel that they pack a couple of doggie poop bags for trash, or dirty things in their personal item. I thought it was a brilliant tip! They take up no space, and I often need somewhere to put used tissue, candy wrappers or whatever on the plane.

I have a suitcase stand that's easily set up and it's so appreciated by my guests. I'm going you check out the small mesh bags and the stand up brush case. You've showcased that before but as I carry only 2 brushes, I didn't get it. This time I notice it looks like it might hold everything I put on my face, makeup wise. I love my Monos easy wheeled roll on and checked bags. Hard sided is always preferred for me. My underseat bag is a growable Biaggi. Thanks for the tips!

You are 100% correct about the neck pillow being for people with longer necks. Bought those clear liquids bags for our most recent trip and no issues. Love them😊 One tsa guy almost gave it a second look, but let it pass. We flew from chicago, to vienna (explored the city during our layover) then vienna to the maldives..and then on the way back was maldives to dubai (explored the city on our layover) to newark to chicago. The Travelon backpack is great. I use it every time I go to London. Ihave their larger purse and the across body bag that is the size of bum bag/fanny pack. I love the small cross body bag. It fits my phone in case (large smart phone), inhaler, and small wallet. There is more room. I will be using this when I travel to the US.

Hi Laurie! First of all, I want to thank you for your travel expertise and tips - all of which were of tremendous support on a recent trip to Argentina. My only negative flying experience was that of ear pressure problems...even when chewing gum I experienced such discomfort. I had a total "duh" moment, I have a clutch wallet that I love, it does have a wrist strap but a lot of the time I end up switching my gear into something else if I'm doing any major running around because I have to carry it. It's annoying moving your stuff back and forth. DUH. The wrist strap is removable, I just ordered one of those crossbody straps that you love. Perfect!!!

Flew through Germany to Italy in April of this year and the liquid bag you have is the same as mine and there was no trouble as our flight started in San Diego. Flying back as well was no issue. Just in case anyone is flying Lufthansa.

Thanks for all your travel tips and ideas. I have been watching a lot in preparation for our upcoming trip. We used to fly a lot, but it’s been over three years now, and a lot has changed. Like paying extra to pick your seats early :/ I found this Glocusent neck reading light in a recommended list. It also looks great for travel as your reading light won’t disturb others as much as the overhead light. I was thinking it’d be great for my son too, who is too short to reach and adjust his light on his own. The more independence during flight the better. Just search the name. Sorry I don’t know how to link it.

How do you find it works for you? Do you wear it forwards or backwards? Do the straps get in the way when they're not attached to the headrest? I'm just under 5', but have never found a neck pillow that works for me - they've all either shoved my head and neck forward, or had zero support in the back.

@@SnowySpiritRuby , I wear it forwards. It would probably be too tall to wear backwards. It has a draw string closure to keep it together. It’s really like a medical neck collar. The straps tuck away flat when not in use.

I agree - I thought the Samantha Brown tote was cute - but something that size has got to convert to a backpack for me if I am using it for a trip. I am sad that the travelon bag I had my eyes on doesnt seem to be on sale. Might just have to buy it - looks like the perfect day bag for my camera.

Hi Laurie, I bought the Iola Mar bags in 3 colours Nude, Blue & black. I tried to get the Ankers but they don’t deliver to Australia. But I’m very excited about the bags 👍 Also tried ordering your Amazon basics quilted underseat bag on wheels but they don’t deliver to Australia but I did find it on the Amazon Australia site so I got it too. we scored 3 new Travelpro suitcases: a 29", a 22 inch, and a 20 inch the 20 inch was on a prime day discount, they're all two wheel models, which I like since I'm the case wrangler, and I can link them all into a train like ducklings. also Mrs K spent her first day in 2 years wearing regular shoes on both feet. so we're sending a memo to our friends in Scotland that we'll be coming to visit next year. addendum: don't forget that insulin pen cooler. we've got it, just haven't tested it yet.

@TravelTipsbyLaurie First thoughts, I love how soft and squishy it is. Good size, but I think I would like some more pockets. I am going to pack it as I would my personal item and see. No bag has beat my Lug yet. If not, it will work great as a work bag, so I am definitely keeping it. I got the interchangeable straps as well. I also have the backpack that opens like a doctor bag, which I currently use for work. I may try that as a personal bag too.

I got one recently for my upcoming trip next week (leaving early Monday morning), and I'm really excited to test it out - I have to bring 2 pairs of prescription glasses (indoor tinted Theraspecs for during the day, clear lens spares for at night because the tinted ones are too dark for walking around camp after dark), as well as a pair of clipon sunglasses ($9 at Walmart, so inexpensive to replace), and possibly a pair of night driver clipons (also $9 at Walmart), and it's the perfect size to fit it all: both clipons fit on one side, each of the glasses fits on the other. All 4 pairs have small rectangular lenses, and they're only slightly curved, so they all fit perfectly (only one pair of actual glasses will be in it at a time, because I'll always be wearing a pair).

Hi it is great here in the states. If a bag says tsa approved it will be great for the states. But no worries. And if you do not love something, return it. That’s what is great about Amazon prime too.

Hi, I do not. They do not work with people like me. But I have the 16 inch underseater and it really does not fit under a seat. It is more for the 50 or 70 seat small airplane overhead bins in case you cannot lift a regular sized carry-on. But it's super quality!! I show it more here: bit.ly/HowPackUnderSeater

With the UK, it must be 1 liter, and water proof. They do vapor tests on them sometimes, which means slide zipper bags won't work, they MUST be press and seal types. Walmart's quart size worked just fine for me, however. Size is fine, one quart is actually smaller than a liter.

I just came back from a cross border trip to pick up my prime day goodies 🙂 That pocketed tray cover is going to make my upcoming long flight so much easier! I treated myself to that bigger nice purse, and it came with a keychain tribble! So cute! They didn't have the bucket list compression cubes left, which is probably just as well - I already own way too many packing cubes and folders!

@@TravelTipsbyLaurie That is really why I am getting it, it's no big deal to quickly wipe down the tray table with an antiseptic wipe, but the big pockets mean I don't have to attempt to reach my bag under the seat throughout the flight.
