Hi friend ! I also am a former member of the Catholic Church. 20 out of 21 questions is very good. Let me ask you a question. Go to Revelation 13:18. You probably have no idea how to calculate the " mark of the beast." Am I right ? Well, I will show you and you can enlighten all of your Catholic friends. God loves all of you and wants you to know the "Truth" so that you will come out of the false religious system that you're in. God does not want any of His children to be deceived. So, do you remember back in grade school when you learned your Roman numerals ? I=1, V or U=5, X=10, L=50, C=100, D=500,etc. Well, maybe you know this or maybe you don't, but the Pope claims to be God on earth and goes under the title "Vicar of Christ." This title, written in Latin, is "Vicarius Filii Dei." Now, assigning Roman numerical value to each letter of this title, we have the following : V=5. F=0. D=500 I=1. I=1. E=0 C=100. L=50. I =1 A=0. I=1. _____ R=0. I=1. 501 I=1. ____ U=5. 53 S=0 _____ 112 112+53+501=**666** When I learned that this beast/antichrist power was the papacy, I and my family left the Catholic Church. Even though all of our friends , relatives , and neighbors were Catholic, we felt that God was calling us out of this Mother Church which, by the way, persecuted and murdered more than 50 million believers in the Dark Ages (538AD-1798AD). I know it's hard to believe but it's true. You can check it out and you'll find that the pages of history will confirm what I've said. Also, be sure to study the 13th chapter of Revelation and the 7th chapter of Daniel. You will learn many other things about the Papacy as well. Also, you are being deceived by your priests as well . They can not forgive your sins anymore than the man in the moon. I've heard that probably 85 percent of them are homosexual. Shocking I know; but God loves His children and wants us all to know the truth. As a matter of fact, you and I have three very important things in common with every other person on earth . (1) WE'VE ALL SINNED (2) WE ALL NEED JESUS and (3)WE'RE ALL FROM THE SAME FAMILY. We can trace our origin back to Adam and Eve ; so we're all brothers and sisters . After you absorb this shock, may God bless you and lead you into His Truth . And , if you've never read a book called "The Great Controversy" then you should pick up a copy. It will tell you about how Satan is working in these last days to deceive all the world.
