New subsciber here, 😊👋😃🇱🇷 Illinois. It's sad to me that people can't be friends at work as most of us are with our coworkers more than our family! I have been brutally burned by past female coworkers thinking they were my friends. Now I know to lay low. I learned to protect myself. @6:51 these coworkers are the worst! So unessary and sadistic! And I despise the butt kissers! 😂

Hey there! Thanks so much for subscribing. And sharing your experience. It’s definitely tough navigating relationships at work, especially when you’ve been burned in the past. 😔 I completely understand why you’d want to lay low and protect yourself. Work friendships can be tricky, and it’s important to set boundaries that keep you comfortable and safe.

The workplace is littered with narcissists and this is exactly what you’re describing here. At the end of the day, there are no friends in work or business.

I documented everything, no matter how stupid and “passive aggressive” it seems at the moment. I made complaints to HR followed by medical reports to my doctor. I then hired a lawyer, who went through the notes which told a story and showed a pattern. Now the company will have to stand in front of a judge and explain why they allowed a violation of human rights.

About 15 years ago I worked at a company (as an artist) in NYC where I had an underling who didn't have my level of talent...and he started a campaign to become the most liked guy in the company, the boss's pet and eventually started turning people against me behind my back. The first signs I saw were lots of passive aggressive, snarky comments always directed at me. He was good at making his comment look self-deprecating but somehow making it about me. Insidious stuff. One of his slimiest moves was standing outside of a meeting room door to listen in on conversations. Sometimes he got caught doing that. He was just a little worm and I was the only one who could see it because he had mastered the art of charming people. I even saw a book he accidentally left on his desk about how to manipulate people and make them like you. This guy was a master of mind games and influencing people and he eventually got my job...when I gave it to him by leaving the company to start my own business. So maybe I should be thanking that weasel.

Hi Twanna!! This info is so great. I have a coworker who checks most of the boxes. We are massage therapists at a salon. The salon was sold to a new owner last year and ever since, he’s been badmouthing me to the new boss, then the new boss started harassing me and sabotaging me. Somehow I disappeared from the online booking system for 2 months before I figured it out. I already knew all of this, but this list really brings it to light. I plan on leaving that job in the new year and continue consuming your content. Thank you!!

I have a hundred stories regarding workplace sabotage: This one boss continued to compete with me. She wanted me to know she was the boss. So I wanted her to know I knew she was the boss so I tried asking for more guidance. She didn't like that I was good at my job. I asked for her help creating an email. She told me exactly what to put in an email when she was in my office. She asked me to copy her and thousands of other people in the office. When she went back to her office she responded to my email saying I had the information wrong and she will work with me. Crazy! She told me the exact words to put in email.

You hit it spot on!! I've experienced everything you have said. Worked FT obtained my BSN and put request off for my final week had over 10 assignments due to graduate submitted request in March for July & July hits was placed on schedule then told I had to find my own replacement, I cried freaked out & a co-worker nicely took over my shifts. Took off college 2 weeks worked regular 4- 12/hrs shifts those 2weeks not in class then entered MSN went back to work 3- 12/hrs shifts FT again & completed both BSN & MSN with honors & my nursing director never acknowledged. While a LPN completed her RN my director sent out email to all staff to congratulate her & even gave her a party. I ended up submitting my resignation from FT to PRN now work 2 nights 12/hrs shifts a week. She got upset with me via text & email only & I asked to talk in person she texted too busy trying to work schedule. Now she has finally on my annual evaluation complemented me in writing for completing my Masters in Nursing & finally wrote that I was an asset to our facility. My co-workers that use to talk to me regularly prior when I first was always working 4-5 12/hrs shifts a week before returning to college always calling/texting me included me in the click now rarely speak to me, unless they want something like how to do something at work, answers to our annual required test or if I can come cover for them on a shift. Now, after getting my MSN in nursing education & desperately want to leave night shift for days am seeking new positions to work adjuct remote online teaching to help my elderly mother. I'm now renovating my house to sell to move in with my mom to teach online, maybe tutor nursing students, help write papers, and possibly start an online business to get my mom involved to help her stay busy mentally. I've been a psychiatric nurse for the past 6 years on nights, always worked days prior to psychiatric nursing, worked as an RN Mgr 8 yrs, ADON 5 yrs, to psych 6 yrs. So ready to move on when my boss knew all along I've been in college, never acknowledged till 2 weeks ago when after each accomplishment never saying anything till now. I am the only nurse with MSN other than her except our NP-C, medical MD & Psych MD & Counselors. Once I get house completed & move I'm resigning completely from this toxic environment. Yes, I've had co-workers do the CC: emails reporting that I've not completed specific tasks on patient charts which I would pull the chart & I did complete while she overlooked trying to make me look bad. She did that after I entered the nursing station saying "hey girl haven't seen you, you, you look great & its so great running into you & I've missed working with you so much!" I even was her preceptor taught her everything she knows on psych including how to document & understand various behavioral health disorders, mental disorders, substance abuse. Sorry went into so much detail, but watching your video resonates with me & my recent experiences. Co-workers can be very deciteful, manipulate & are busy bodies talking dirt only out of jealousy because they are not willing to put forth the effort to better themselves they turn on people that expand beyond their comfort level to grow internally. They use to tell me "OMG, I don't know how you can be in college working FT, that's too much", some I did influence & encourage to do it that it is doable & huge commitment, some did & quit, only talked to me while doing it to get me to explain a particular course, how to research & even write their papers, I was proof reading their work of courses I completed while doing my own research. They all quit using excuses that it took away their social life, but I realized they actually wanted me to do their work for them. I was being used. Great video! Truthful and honestly, as an adult, we really have very few if any true friends. I thank God for my family support & your video supporting my thoughts & feelings I had.

What about if you do all this but your boss takes their side, then what? Do you look for a new job or get a solicitor involved?

@coachtwannacarter 11 месяцев назад
This question is truly a "it depends" question. If the situation escalates and you believe there are legal ramifications, then consulting with a solicitor can be an option. If all else fails and you believe the work environment is detrimental to your well-being and professional growth, then considering a new job might be the best move for your mental and professional health.

Hi Twanna. What you are about to read is not in my head nor is it a movie. It's a new reality for me at the job. There's something strange going on at the site in reference to me as an employee. Beyond the shadow of doubt, I know that someone has been going around defaming my good name and character in the building. As you know, this act is against the law. This is called defamation of character. Am I right? Why do I say this? Many of the people who have been friendly to me for more than two years have suddenly stopped communicating, especially when I am posted in the lobby. This new attitude towards me started about 5 weeks ago. I firmly believe that many of the employees from various departments are trying to make me feel unwanted hoping that I would leave the site. I spoke to several of my coworkers about what is happening to me. They told me to simply ignore the silent treatment, do my job and go home. Of course, this is easier said than done. There is a group effort to make me feel unwanted and uncomfortable. If I did something wrong or offended anyone, I would like to know exactly what I did that would compel a group of employees who have been saying hello to me for more than two years to suddenly stop all communications. By the way, this is only happening to me and not my coworkers. The silent treatment is only directed to me when posted in the lobby. I don't know who started the rumor, why the rumor was started and what exactly was spread about me. The rumor has ruined my good name and character not only in the lobby but on different floors and into several departments. If one or two employees decided that they no longer wanted to talk to me, I would not bother to post my story here. However, the number of people who continue to give me the silent treatment grows on a daily basis. Everyday, without exaggeration, a new employee is added to the DON'T TALK TO ME list, if you know what I mean. It is hard to work and be ignored. I make a decent salary and so walking away from the job is not a good idea. Questions: 1. What is the best way to handle the silent treatment at the job? 2. What would you do in my situation? 3. What is the main reason for giving an employee the silent treatment? Thank you.
@coachtwannacarter
@coachtwannacarter Год назад
Oh wow, that really sounds frustrating.😔 Sometimes when people get treated that way at work, it's called being managed out. Which happens when the company or supervisor is trying to make conditions so uncomfortable for you that you just quit on your own. Instead of them firing you. I talk about the signs and how to deal with being managed out of your job here 👉🏾ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Sp82GO2v6U0.html and here 👉🏾ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LGUJ5aR5r6s.html Let me know if these videos were helpful.

@@coachtwannacarter : The transfer is in process. I should receive my new assignment schedule next week. People are mean, greedy and envious. I am 57. In what way am I a threat to anyone there? Someone started an ugly rumor about me and most decided to believe the lie just to be part of the click.
