Been watching your videos from the beginning and have often wondered how to refer to you. Thanks for the name tutorial, Hsin! The speeded up bits help the flow of the videos, and the music when you're not talking is OK, but a little distracting when you're speaking. The videos are always watchable, and as ever, many thanks for the fine teaching! This particular video is a good one to send my throwing student, who finds this technique hard to understand.

Don't know if you'll actually see this after all this time ... but why not poke the air hole up where you are going to cut the piece apart? It'll just get trimmed off then even if it isn't totally obscured when you complete the separation. And I am loving the tools you sent me. Especially the round bowl ribs - I used to love my Mudtool bowl ribs the most, now I love my Hsin bowl ribs the mostest most! Even the biggest one, which I thought would be really awkward in my small hands, it is not at all awkward. Now if I could just bring myself to scrawl my name on them, so they don't go walkies without me ... but I hate to inflict my hand writing on them LOL!

I have so much respect and admiration for your work. The skill and artistry you display are a joy to observe. Thanks for your inspiration! My skill level has improved dramatically because of you. My only criticism is the background music...ugh!

How did you glaze the top piece all the way to the bottom? I waxed the bottom of the rim but the wax still dripped down onto my kiln shelf. My tops all cracked but one.

How did you glaze the outside and not have the lid and box fuse together?
