@@oliviaiguesss he was saying those words to prove a point, not in a derogatory manner, he should not have to apologise. Plus, I forgot being with a woman for decades makes you unfaithful, but whatever you say
Billie Joe Armstrong is such a relatable bloke who clearly loves the personal company of strangers and friends alike and also seems to have a kind heart. That seems to be an increasingly rare thing in our age of smart phone echo chambers. Green Day's musical poetry has really changed the world. Pretty amazing'; Bless 'em
OMF, this woman! Amazing interview... because of the guest. That's about the only "amazing" in this interview. Her questions are based on speculation, public knowledge, Google searches, & Wiki facts. She did no additional research & could barely keep her facts straight nor function without her notes. "Your latest album...*reads notes* Revolution Radio; i should say the name." "Your drummer, Mike..." Really? Billie Joe is a phenomenal human being & musician; he deserved a better interview that what this woman could manage.
Good interview + interviewer 💖💖 You can tell she likes him 💞 Billie Joe is so nice and down to earth, 💚 despite being a millionaire. So talented, gorgeous and cool. His wife's very lucky. 💖👌
please people!!! Saint Jimmy does not equal Jesus of Suburbia. its the broadway musical, not the music video. they are 2 different characters. billie has already played the character of st jimmy on broadway and he did an AMAZING job. it absolutely had to be him for the film adaption!
Yes and no. The Jesus of Suburbia has a version of himself called St Jimmy that almost destroys him (the whole thing is a metaphor for Billie and his own personal struggles and demons basically), they're two different sides of the same person; "Rage vs Love" etc. In the musical version both characters line up beside each other, are dressed the exact same way, and are mimicking each other's exact moves - and then they both shoot themselves but it's Jimmy that actually "dies" and Jesus is left standing. That whole scene is JoS basically admitting to himself that Jimmy is harmful and it's best for himself to kill that part of himself off because he was destroying himself with drugs and booze and ruined his relationship with his girlfriend (Whatsername) while trying to be something that he's not
Still so cute. I love Revolution Radio and can't wait to see them live one day! I guess on the next tour whenever that will be. And if there's an American Idiot movie, he'd better play St. Jimmy!
Billie Joe, an amazing guy, nearly 30 years in the biz! He and Green Day continue to produce incredible music, "Oh Yeah", really catchy, and this coming from a guy (me) knocking on the door of 60 next month, blah! How does this guy keep his youthful looks? In my mind he would pass for under 30, yet he's like, in the late forties? No flippin way! Anyways Billie Joe, keep up the awesome work !!!
Sagun Kashyap Honestly for not knowing much about Green Day she asked a lot good questions..not every interviewer is going to know much about every person they interview
How though? She doesn't exist just to report on Green Day so why would she know a lot about them? Not every interviewer will 100% know about all subjects their bosses tell them to cover. At least she knew that he has two sons, met Mike when they were 10, etc most wouldn't bring that up in the interview at all.
Year 2067... Interviewer: And the last question is... Billie Joe, you're... just how old are you now? Billie: Mmm. Ninety-five, i guess. Interviewer: So how come you never seem to age?! Billie: Um. I know the magic words. Every time I say "you know", i cut like a couple of weeks off my age. Had to cut down on that some fifty years ago, though. I don't want to be a teenager again. The movie was nice in a way, still don't think he's really that good at acting (sorry, man). Could've been really cool as some weird Leutenant Columbo's son or nephew, though (like, a crazy cop from Oakland, a father of five or more, coming to work for LAPD as the best guy around to solve mysteries). Personally, i'd love to see something like that. :)
He's been off drugs since the 90's. If you're referring to the Iheart thing then it was just prescription medication abuse made worse by his drinking, which has also stopped.
really she should have done her homework and known which members played which instruments in the band, goes for any interview to have information on who you are interviewing.
Joey Clark Who cares? Not every interviewer is going to much about the people they interviewing. I heard nothing wrong about this interview tbh, for not knowing much about the band she did a good job
Man, what a terrible camera work. Billie is 90% of the time out of focus, and they dont pick the cameras right when the girl is talking... Man, CBS, pick good camera mans and good director (or at least edit later)...
This was 2 years ago, when is the freaking American Idiot movie going to happen?! he says here that the process has begun but now it’s 2018 soon 2019.... I want that movie to freaking be made and come out soon.... I want it so freaking bad! 😭❤️💚🙏🏻 PLEASE! I’m begging you! make the freaking movie already!
Good morning Billie and honestly guilty though I should probably say Perry I saw Ordinary World fragmentarily and at first don't know why I associated this picture with the perfect world and the great role of Kevin Costner now however I feel that this is not a coincidence music is the perfect world for every romantic artist and not only though there are few from outside this circle, she has a positive advantage over poetry, a depth which the human eye cannot see and she reaches the innermost recesses of our soul, you are good because you are ordinary the same as the environment but this explanation will come .....
