Billie: I-- Interviewer: Do you-- Billie: Go ahead Interviewer: Well, you were going to say something Billie: No no, I uh, you first. Interviewer: Well *everybody laughs* xD
This is one of the best interviews with him. The interviewer isn't the best one out there, but he's not that bad. I love everything he asked, though, and Billie Joe's answers. It's very insightful and hilarious.
My dad had a Green Day CD when I was seven or eight and he told me not to listen to the songs so, of course, I did...that was the first time I heard Green Day.
I bet when billie started talking about the line "im the son of rage and love" I bet the guy felt really akward after him saying child of rage and love XD
Hahahaha, I've always taken 'nobody likes you' very serious, but when Billie Joe said that it's just about Mike being alone at the studio... I will laugh every time I hear it xD :D
good god, that man is intelligent. it's great to have the songs explained a little. not to sound corny but, what a deep person. i just want to hug him.
For a guy who dropped out of high school, Billie Joe is remarkably well spoken and obviously a very deep thinker! Oh yeah...and as sexy as HELL! 'Crazy Train'? If I'm not mistaken, I heard a lick or two of that at the GD concert I just went to :)
I know right! When I saw the very beginning of this clip I was like 'wtf? this is so not the sort of thing they usually do!' It's so... more put together and more 'classy' I guess than a lot of other interviews and stuff that they do lol
"Ya'know" is my habit as well...:-) It's not even about being nervous, it's basically that you think faster than you speak, in your head you know what you wanna say and while saying "ya'know" you are looking for the right words...if "ya'know" what I mean.. :-)))
lol, I attempted to count how many 'Y'knows' he said but i lost count when he starting saying it nearly every second word at 6:29 aww, I love Billie, he's so sweet..
i still remember the first time i heard thes guys i woke up one school moring and i left my tv on that night to VH1 and when i woke up it was the show jumpstart wich is just like.. music vids and i woke up to blvd. of broken dreams and i thought they looked cool and sounded awesome so thatr day at school i asked everyone who the hell sang that song and eventually one of my friends said thats greenday that was when i was 7 now im 15 and they are one of my favorites alonside seether ans distrbd
