The Irish girl was a air hostess for a Arab airline, she married a Arab man over there last year,he turned controlling and violent, when she wanted to leave he wouldn’t let and ripped up her passport and wouldn’t let her out of their home, she ended up taking pills and alcohol to try end her life as she couldn’t see a escape,a ambulance was called and she woke up in a jail cell and was told she would be going to prison for attempting suicide. The Irish government stepped in and she came back to Dublin yesterday.
There are so so many stories like these about the dark Islamic side of UAE. Hospitality and building industries practice modern slavery on migrant workers. It's not what it seems at all.
Sharia law is already operating in the UK. My birth City of Birmingham has Sharia law courts and has done for several years or more. Britain is getting what it deserves because Brits in the millions have turned their backs on Almighty God, the God of the Holy Scriptures (Bible).
@@NazSBG yeah but God is meant to be compassionate, yet he/she/it/they punishes us when we disown he/she/it/they 😞 all the so-called life's challenges... like an abusive relationship... so yeah but no thanks 'n' all.
@@patrickchan2503 humans punish themselves by choosing to turn their backs on God. People often say "how can a living God send people to hell?" He doesn't. They send themselves there by turning away from him and choosing the vile, evil, selfish, worldly ways of living. All the best with your life without God aka Jesus Christ. I have peace, joy and eternal hope. This world and it's ways don't give me that!
@@NazSBG why are you ... angry... ! Anyway I'm not going to tell you depressing stories of this world. I mean there are joyful ones but it's the depressing ones that seem to last. I'm glad you have peace, joy and eternal hope.
U ntil everyone can honestly speak that their abuse is as a direct result of Islamic dictat there can be no honest and just condemnation of theocracy - democracy needs to be lauded and promoted!
There's a young British football coach who took a coaching job in Dubai,on his arrival police said they found vapes containing weed in the boot of his car, he said it belonged to a mate back in the UK who verified it. The 22 yr old F/coach was charged on bringing drugs into Dubai and was sentenced to 15 yrs in prison, I dread to think what is and has been happening to him. Fact the prison officers turn a blind eye to sexual abuse and male on male rape (as it keeps the inmates calm and quiet) . Most middle eastern countries have very skewed laws .
Imagine this the other way round. Imagine if a Middle Eastern businessman got convicted here for embezzling millions of pounds and then complained about the food in our prisons and the fact the prison staff spoke English.
My coworker was violently run off the road. He gave the middle finger. Later in the day he was arrested and charged with indecency. He explained what happened. He was put before a judge who only spoke Arabic. He was in jail for two weeks and suffered assaults of various kinds. He wanted the British government to get him out but he was only released when he signed a confession that he could not read in Arabic and paid a huge fine. He does not suggest anyone go there. 😃
In the late 1990s early 2,000s, an Indnesian maid in Dubai was raped and impregnated by a Pakistani expatriate. The maid was dragged through the Courts and sentenced to death by stoning. The Indonesian Foreign Minister got involved, but initially was rebuffed by the Authorities in Dubai. Finally, he threatened to withdraw all the Indonesian msids in the UAE. He won his argument and turned up in a private plane to take the maid home. It was all over the national dailies in Indonesia. The Pakistani expatriate faced no penalties whatsoever.
1) Have you lot never heard about what was done and continues to be done to Tommy Robinson in UK courts? We also need to watch our dejudicary carefully. 2) All investments/business from these Shariya countries must be rejected until they completely bring themselves in line with Western standards.
David Haigh is an amazing man and an inspiration. He could have just come home and comforted himself with money etc. But he's dedicated himself to helping others. A brilliant example of empathy and kindness.
Its a good point that he will never likely get over this experience and it highlights how prison in the uk will never ever rehabilitate anybody, we need to improve our punishment system for none violent crimes because if you are not violent b4 entering prison you will be after the experience causing more damage to the general public.
There’s always two perspectives. Anyone who genuinely thinks Dubai isn’t safe for business, work or tourism is deluded and probably is looking out for their own self interest. Dubai has super strict laws, and unlike the UK, there is no risk of getting mugged, stabbed, assaulted, robbed or any of the thousands of other crimes that take place in the UK. So if you don’t want to follow Dubai’s rules, don’t go there and stay in the UK in squalor.
Many Brits live, work and have holidayed in Dubai without any problems. I had a female friend who worked there for several years, and friends who have frequently holidayed there. So I am a bit dubious on the face of this story. Without knowing the full story. It is important when visiting any other country to research the rules, laws and regulations in that country and you have to conform to them. It is simple as. Why was David singled out, what was the lead up to the police becoming interested in him. I feel he is being shy with some of the details.
Lived in Dubai for years. Have loads of friends still there. You can drink there but don't get drunk in public. No doubt there is way more to this guys story and even if not, if you are an LGB campaigner and have also got fraud charges to answer, why would you go there? Turns out he's been convicted of fraud, with failed appeal in UK. Can't blame people for wanting their money back
Never wanna go to Dubai. They allow certain behaviour until it’s inconvenient for them. They do what they want when they want. No human rights out there.
This man story doesnt make sense and he doesnt tell the full story. Dubai needs to be more honest make its laws and rules clear but so many people go there so it cant be that bad. Anyone going abroad learn the rules and laws of the country respect them.
But British are always welcome there. Once Arabs even saved many of them from a ship on fire. As far as I know Arabs as former mandate of Britain love British very much.
Absolute garbage my friend was in jail for two years in Dubai ,they looked after him in there, sexual assault is done in every prison around the world it's prison full of criminals your not going to Disney land lol
Great suggestion. Become a law student before travelling to an Islamic hole. Bravo, encore, encore! Is that Sharia law we should study? It might be helpful to learn Arabic as well then,eh?
Think about what he said, about it never leaving you, n then think about what happened to our armed forces during the second world war as prisoners of war, particularly japanese prisoners of war, they did not get hospital treatment for what they went through witnesses, my Uncle was in the middle east during the war, I could not understand why when his Father or Brother were dying he could not see them, then it dawned on me he had seen more than enough death during the war.
I lived and worked in Dubai for many years without any issues whatsoever. The only interactions I had with the police were all OK (still got fined and penalty points). This chap is not telling the whole truth, that is for 100% sure. He is only telling partial truths and leaves out whatever it is that makes his stories less believable.
Why did he gloss over the irish woman's story? She was beaten black and blue by her husband, and she tried to check herself out to get out of the marriage. Anyway, he's a lawyer, so he's probably lying through his teeth about his own story. He probably tried lifting shirts because I noticed he never said what he was accused of.
