Man that little 22nos shoots 🤙🏼 I just traded a 17rem for a 223 so I can do abit of plinking for a lot less cost. And still flat enough for my roo shooting, the barrel life on the 17rem at 4200fps with a 25gr was terrible lol, I see you have the 4aw adjustable bag I’ve been thinking of getting one myself.

I don’t know maybe I miss something but the long range Target sent to me that he had a total of 10 inches vertical which isn’t badabout 1 MOA

First shot hit the bottom. Then I adjusted up 3/4 MOA, then shot 5 in a row. After that first adjustment it shot 1/2 MOA/5.375" It's repeatable. These rifles hammer.

What rear bag are you using there?
@LittleCrowGunworks
@LittleCrowGunworks 3 месяца назад
Hey Ed, the sandbag is a Protektor 13A and under that is an "Adjustable Bag Base V3" from Mark Else at 4AW in Western Australia. Google "4AW Adjustable Bag Base" it will be the top result.

@@LittleCrowGunworks thank you. I just bought one of those V3 adjustable bases. I’ve been wanting something like that. I didn’t know anybody had made one.

Thanks! Funny you should ask. Watch my video, "Why the 22 Nosler?"

@@LittleCrowGunworks I've watched it and still wonder why you didn't choose the Creedmoor Barrel life is shorter for sure but it shoots lights out Especially in a custom rifle and hand loads like the ones you use in this video
@LittleCrowGunworks
@LittleCrowGunworks 3 месяца назад
Barrel life isn't just shorter. It's a quarter of the 22 Nosler. Maybe less. The 22 Creedmoor is not a good choice for a "Training Rifle" under nearly any circumstances. The performance out to 600yds is superior to anything shooting factory ammo. So, it's not relevant unless you are hunting with some badass hotrod like I am. But even then, I'm not interested in a training rifle with sub 1,000 rounds of barrel life. Besides, the 22 Nosler shoots lights out. What are you hoping to gain with a 22 Creedmoor? I literally shot 1 five shot group at 640yds and it was under 4 inches. I didn't wait for a day with no wind, and then shoot groups all day until I got a good one. I literally shot 1 group.

@@LittleCrowGunworks Not knocking your choice just asked why not a 22 Creed. Obviously that rifle shoots great As far as the wind goes, you are an experienced shooter so wind is not an issue and yes as a "training rifle" 22 Nosler is a better choice
@LittleCrowGunworks
@LittleCrowGunworks 3 месяца назад
Sure. The 22 Creed has it's place as I mentioned. There isn't a better "Laser Flat" option for coyotes. If you want a nearly 400yd zero where you can point and shoot out to that distance, the 22 Creed with a 75gr ELDM is the ticket. You could replicate the 22 Nosler numbers with a 22 Creed. All you need is a shorter barrel and load it down a little and you're velocities will be the same as our 28" 22 Nosler. But the barrel life on the Creedmoor will still be way worse. Even loaded down.
