Wrecked by injuries. To me, the tennis in the last decade would have looked completely different if Del Potro had stayed healthy. He would for sure be a multiple slam winner, and would have made life much harder for the big three. Additionally, it would have sent a signal to other players as well 'If he can do it, I can do it as well'. It would have somehow disturbed the magical aura. He is just such a loveable person as well, a true champion, and he only deserves the best in his next chapter of life.
Even when unleashing these bazookas, I always feel that he can even hit them harder, he's just holding back because he needs the ball to land within the same hemisphere.
