AB is always slipping in the funniest jokes under the radar. Dan: I mastered all four elements. I am the Avatar. AB: That's why you're bald. No one in the crew laughed, but I did, AB. I did. ✊😔
YESSS. I caught that one too lol! From the last episode, he was singing the "it's a nightmare" dream song during the paper towel fiasco and I can't believe no one in the comments said ANYTHING.
My fav thing is when the crew gets going on a weird topic, like how they take a dump, and then Zach decides to chime in with his usually unorthodox approach and then everyone turns on him and thinks he’s weird af. It’s the best. I was dying.
Olivia cracks me up. The other day when Dan said something about gently inserting the poo into the toilet and Olivia immediately said, "I would like to die," I fkn lost it
Loved the Love veggie segment. Two things: 1. The potato is commonly considered a "nutritionally complete" food, meaning that you can survive by eating JUST potatoes and water. This isn't technically 100% true (you'd eventually get some vitamin deficiencies if you ate EXCLUSIVELY potatoes for months on end), but they are a remarkable food in that they contain all the essential amino acids that the body needs. You could live (and I think actually be quite healthy) on a diet of just white potatoes, sweet potatoes, and a multi-vitamin. Not that I'd recommend it, just mentioning it because it came up on the show. 2. Would love for Love to try some vegetable curries. That was my path to eating more vegetables. I was a big chicken boy my whole life, then I started eating a bunch of Indian curries, starting with chicken tikka masala, then branching into chana masala (chickpeas in a tomato-based curry), then into Thai and Vietnamese curries. Give that man a thai sweet potato red curry. To die for.
Great advice. Also didn’t know this about potatoes. I was raised incorrectly believing lots of food were unhealthy because of my parents; I didn’t learn that beans are healthy until last year. I’m realizing I also have this perception about potatoes. Probably because of French fries?? You’ve motivated me to make some potato curry this week. Thanks!
On your first point- I just want to add that I’m not surprised that you can “survive” on just potatoes. I’m an ICU nurse in the Midwest. A lot of our patient population ends up in the ICU because of unmanaged health issues and poor lifestyle. (Not blaming them or saying they deserve it. It’s just a fact in our area. We all have our own unhealthy things we do.) But the way some people treat their body for so long and still manage to live has really shocked me in some of the cases. Like people who are middle-aged and older who eat nothing but super fatty processed foods and say they don’t drink water (just sodas, teas, coffees, alcohol). I’m always just thinking “omg I would feel physically horrible if I even ate/drank like that for a day.” The human body can be simultaneously so fragile and/or so resilient. It’s fascinating to me.
honestly good point why don't they just have an assistant go and get it as part of their job? idk how much they spend on tips and fees could probably have someone company car go and get it faster and easier and that person could do other things too as a normal office assistant job
So true bestie but ngl I miss the LoveBot goofs, like when they’d cut to him throughout the show & the screen would just gradually get more filled with sand & game screens 💀 or when he’d put up text graphics saying “I’m held against my will” or some shit 😩 he rlly made his presence known with what he had! We love Love! 💖
Well I ain’t no plumber and I did ask one which did give me the same opinion. In my house we’ve always put the toilet paper in the toilet and there was never, in 25 years, a clog xD don’t know how that’s possible but I think I’ll keep trying my luck for now 😂
@@rebexyyhahaha I used to have a friend who I briefly talked about potentially renting a place with, he said if we were going to he expected me to follow his bathroom etiquette which was to pee sitting down and to put my used toilet paper in the garbage 😂 he told me his family growing up exclusively put their toilet paper in the garbage to prevent the pipes from clogging
Ian's spent so long silently switching, I'm pretty sure he's developed potent clairvoyant powers. He straight up switches to people as they're breathing in in preparation to speak their next point. I believe they've stopped showing him due to the concerning-looking cranial growth and eldritch tendriling.
Infrabren is a genius. He's taking advantage of the fact that people will mostly assume that what you are saying to them is normal or makes sense, so they won't question it. So he just says and does the most outlandish shit ever in the guise of someone just trying to be funny or show the stranger something.
he has inspired me to try some veggie dishes myself. i have the same issue as him, there’s a mental block that doesn’t allow me to enjoy most veggies and now at 27 (today 🎉) it’s catching up to me
3000-some Palestinians have died so far in the conflict, but Ethan would rather focus on a story about 500 people not being killed by the IDF in a hospital? Every time he talks about the war, he spends 30 seconds clarifying his "centrism" on the conflict, and then an hour supporting Israel. If you want to sound balanced, you need to actually be balanced in how you cover this conflict. Because so far, your perception that you can spend all this time defending Israel so long as you add an asterisk and a footnote isn't at all convincing.
it’s also so hypocritical of him bc he got so angry when people were questioning circumstances around israeli deaths (like last ep with the fake blood controversy) but he has no problem showing propaganda that undermines what palestinians on the ground are saying. it feels so stupid to argue whether israel bombed this one hospital or not when they have already bombed other hospitals before and showed no remorse doing so
Per usual, AB with a banger joke gets overlooked lmaoooo When Dan said he had mastered all four elements, therefore he is an avatar - AB hit real smooth with “that’s why you’re bald” and it wasn’t even acknowledged
I dont understand ethans take on the hospital bombing. He said "its good that israel didnt do it because if they did that would be a major escalation" as if israel bombing hospitals would be something new. They literally already did that on saturday.
Yeah unfortunately ppl like sam, ian, ab and leena dont talk as much cuz this fanbase is so toxic lol. I love half of chat, but the other half runs to reddit to hate on them and bring them down. I completely get why they choose to talk as little as possible
Please, I’m a dental student, don’t use Snus and other tobacco products. While it’s somewhat better than straight dip it still has oral cancer causing agents in it. Even just the act of having something pressed up against your gums constantly is pretty unhealthy like Love was saying. Oral cancer is terrible and spreads to the lymph nodes often before it’s caught. Be safe rather than sorry.
@@whereamihelpmeparticularly the location of smiley piercings, in the lip frenulum has potential to irritate your gums causing inflammatory response that leads to recession. Gums don’t grow back once they’ve receded. Also the constant rubbing against your teeth has potential to scratch your teeth or chip them. Obviously having a piercing is your choice just like using tobacco, etc… but people often don’t know the risks beforehand.
People who think you don't like veggies: try roasting it first. Add generous amount of olive oil, salt, garlic. That's the gateway to eating veggies, especially root crops and those in the cabbage family.
@@andrea-xp1mi lol or their parents just boiled (not even steamed!) veggies until they're mush and were shocked children think it's gross. How about cooking it well tho? Like, veggie soup with herbs, olive oil and bread on the side? So good! Salads with fruits, nuts, homemade dressing? Let's go! People don't know what to do with veggies and it's so sad
AB, a valued member of the H3 Podcast team, must occasionally feel a pang of frustration or perhaps even invisibility when Ethan, engrossed in the world of hosting and managing the myriad dynamics of a live show, doesn't seem to hear or fully grasp his contributions. Each time he chimes in with a perspective or piece of information, he does so with the hope of enhancing the conversation and providing value. When these moments of disconnect occur, it could lead to feelings of being undervalued or overshadowed, despite knowing that the live nature of podcasts often comes with such inadvertent oversights. The challenge for AB, as with many in similar roles, is to continually find the balance between asserting oneself and understanding the ebb and flow of live broadcast dynamics.
I’m always trying to listen to AB. He’s got some great points and some really funny jokes but he and Lena are both very passive people so they get talked over a lot. We hear you AB!!❤
Its not that deep, years ago ethan said he can't always hear AB due to the distance he's sitting since they don't do the head sets like other podcasts, so thats simple and im pretty sure i heard dan "tsss" as a small laugh at ABs bald joke ❤✌️
Infrabren is soooooo one of a kind… he is otherworldly. He’s so fucking funny though and he’s got a really unique bit, I hope him all the success in the world
my bf has a very similar food issue as Love. I've told him countless times it's an eating disorder and because of the stigma behind the term, he can't accept it. An eating disorder is any form of disordered eating whether it's forced or not. The other day he finally admitted to needing therapy and I about cried! What you put into your body is so important, so for Love to even try out this segment is a step in the right direction.
Huh? What's so wrong about being concerned about a health disorder that negatively affects my loved ones life everyday... also I have my own business and actually pay more for bills than he does lol. You sound like a lot of fun to be around! @@cupnoodles4113
I feel like the fact that the only two eating disorders we get taught in school being anorexia and bulimia also contributes to the thinking that you have to have a body image issue to have an eating disorder. But it’s not true. Like you said any kind of disordered eating that affects your health can be an eating disorder. I hope therapy helps your boyfriend! Admitting there is a problem sometimes is the hardest step.
bombing previous hospitals, dropping white phosphorus, calling palestinians “children of darkness,” and openly threatening to bomb hospitals previously means nothing? you don’t talk about Israel’s war crimes but you go on tangents in two episodes defending them about a bombing that they threatened??? I’m actually so disappointed. propaganda can exist on both sides, not just Hamas, and it’s becoming really evident which side you are succumbing to.
It's so disappointing hearing all the Israeli propaganda. I watched it live last night but it made me sick so I turned it off and now I can't find the propaganda bit, did they remove it? Ethan will always be an Israeli sympathizer. His wife raided Palestinian homes while in the IDF, and before anyone says it's mandatory she found being a secretary too boring and wanted "more adventure" words straight from her IDF mouth. She went on a raid of Palestinian homes. Ethan will never denounce any action from the IDF because he would be denouncing his wife. From what I've seen they're pretty proud of her IDF work. Check out a clip on tiger belly where they spoke about it years ago, they have nothing but disgust for the people of Palestine because they've been indoctrinated their whole lives. Ethan and Hila honestly make me fucking sick. He'd want to fuck all the way off with his Israeli propaganda
Again Ethan missing the forest for threes. Before yesterday, 17 hospitals and health facilities had been hit by Israeli airstrikes. On the same day as the deadly attack on the hospital, a UN refugee agency school in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza had been hit by an Israeli airstrike, killing at least six, including UNRWA staff, injuring dozens and causing severe structural damage to the building. The school was being used as a shelter by Palestinians displaced by Israeli airstrikes, thinking the IDF would not hit a UN facility, as it has the GPS coordinates of all of them. Yet he continues to play defence for the IDF.
Yes! Missing the forest for the trees is the exact perfect description. There is no point in defending the IDF about this one situation - they are still committing genocide.
lol ethan saying "the truth matters, people were so up in arms that i was saying 'wait for the truth'" when just last episode i think he was saying that even doubting the legitimacy of a single image on twitter is absurd and went on a whole tirade.
No, what his point was was that people making definite conclusions that the photo was fake based on nothing but their own prejudices was ridiculous and unfair. Now he's talking about people making definite conclusions that the IDF air striked the hospital based on nothing but their own prejudices being ridiculous and unfair. No contradictions as far as I can see.
@@donjuan2001 he didnt even really call out people making definite conclusions though. maybe that's what he whittled his stance down into when he started cooling down, but he saying that even questioning it was bad. he described it as playing games, if i recall correctly.
My main issue with how Ethan is talking about this is he was fully enraged about the attack on Israel, but now everyone needs to "calm down" and "keep a level head" about the daily massacre of countless Palestinian citizens. He says "the IDF didn't kill 500 people". No, they've killed 4,200 so far.
@@kyleeparsons9897 He should be able to take himself out as the main character all the time, and see that innocent people are dying (and that trolls online aren't the most important angle of things).
@@Spaceship_Landing4200 according to the UN. That is supposed to be a combined total of Palestinians and Israelis though. It is misleading to act like it's entirely Palestinian deaths. It's still like 3000 dead Palestinians from this bombing campaign, far more injured, and hundreds unaccounted for. According to the UN.
It doesn't matter whether it was the idf that bombed that hospital specifically considering they bombed other hospitals...Ethan try to not defend the idf challenge (impossible)
The reason people get upset about the rocket is not because 'they're mad because they actually wanted it to be IDF', which is disingenuous and insane, it's that the information stream has ceased while the whole internet analyzes instances in which the IDF can be absolved. It's completely within reason to identify it as a rocket malfunction, and it's completely understandable to be upset at Hamas. But the IDF is still committing war crimes like attacking border escape routes and frontline medical workers. Those facts get a passing comment. Meanwhile, when there's an instance where the blame of a crime against the Palestinians can be shifted to Hamas, everyone hyper-focuses on that and brushes past the war crimes the IDF is still committing in other aspects.
Its crazy how they order like 40+ items from taco bell and complain that the minimum wage workers took longer than anticipated to put it all together. Like the first 30 items are gonna be cold by the time the last one is even made. It's physics my dude.
Yeah they all go check the app individually bit don't realize when it says 20-30 min that's based off t.b receiving a $20 order. When you add 5 $20 orders together it's going to take at least 2 times longer than when you check the app with a empty basket. It's so weird the can't comprehend that.
@@0FreakShow0 the time spent repeating IDF talking points and "evidence" (like the Hamas recording for example) with VERY LITTLE criticism (he literally said the recording is "not super credible but interesting" -- a clear fucked up downplaying of IDF's well-documented history of lying) versus Ethan talking about the IDF's well documented atrocities is so disproportionate, be honest with yourself.
Ethan spent so much time the last ep saying “who cares if that classroom picture is fake” only to spend like half an hour this episode debunking the rocket
he didnt "wait and see" long enough for the propaganda he just spread in this podcast either. The audio tape was proven to be faked and the rocket attack if veryy obviously a coverup job by Israel. Tons of new information just came out yesterday while he was sharing all this agi-prop on the stream.
Ethan: says he doesn't take Hamas or IDF info at face value Also Ethan: presents actual IDF/IAF photos as evidence why Israel didn't bomb the hospital Agree that we need third party verification. However, when the state that has continuously been doing bombing campaigns in the area tells multiple hospitals to evacuate and launches bombs in the area days prior, I'm inclined to believe they're the ones doing the bombing. The rest of the stream was fire, I loved the veggie segment. That spaghetti squash looked incredible.
Don't get me wrong I adore Ethan but sometimes like in this instance he sounds so clueless & naive. It's like he just doesn't want to believe Israel can do something so horrific. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but it is getting more & more difficult each week. Too many excuses given for the IDF man; they did that shit!
I am a woman in STEM - a geotechnical engineer - I can’t tell if what that lady is doing is okay or not but I am telling you with peace and love do not dig under your house peace and love peace and love
The problem I have is that Ethan says the rocket came from the graveyard next door (mere feet away). Then he shows footage of a rocket traveling long distances, looking like a few miles away. The rocket didn’t go straight up, I don’t know what happened but the video is the opposite of what he said 🤷♂️
i agree that we need to keep our heads cool when news is coming out in the midst of war, but ethan was just going crazy about people not believing a photo by the literal Israel twitter account of a bedroom scene. so the advice is a little annoying to hear right after that
He’s always like this but now ur seeing it from an unbiased perspective. He can’t manipulate this situation because of how big it is. He’s always been like this
He's taking a victory lap because It's the one time it WASNT an idf airstrike on civilians. Like saying cops aren't violent because you saw a vid of a cop saving a baby with CPR. I believe that it could be a freak accident but that doesn't negate water power and food being cut off and all the other bombings on civilians. I'm glad to see ethan change his perspective but it's just silly to act like he has 100 proof from seeing posts.
@@rossfromfriends8468 exactly, like they still don't know who dropped it with certainty because nobody can get in to conduct an investigation. You can't say that it wasn't the IDF with the certainty he was, fumbling over "proof" that is also unconfirmed. Especially since the reports that it wasn't the IDF are from the IDF themselves and heavily biased allies and outlets.
Like he quoted an Al Jazeera article and videos and I went to look up the article and videos and Al jazeera's even saying they don't know who dropped it and are not excluding the idea that it could be Israel....like come on Ethan..😔
Speaking about the conflict happening is very important but I don’t think the way it has consumed every episode each week is not a helpful conversation. At this point it feels like Ethan is scolding me for an hour about an opinion I don’t hold.
