Oh, my God!! ❤😂 I laughed, died, and had so much fun! I am new and the side plank was not possible on my left side yet (with the weight). I know it will be soon enough! I’d love to see more videos like this one, I love the props! I smiled whenever you cued us to as well. 😂

I'm so glad you had fun and enjoyed the class! 😍 It's perfectly okay if the side plank is challenging right now -keep at it, and you'll get there soon! I'll definitely make more videos like this with props. I just posted a beginner level Pilates class with no props that you might like as well. Okay, so I did this again… I’m wondering if at the end, with the side plank/weight, if my thigh is mostly on the floor but my torso is raised, am I still benefitting from this exercise? 😂 Not gonna quit!!! 💪🏻

Great question and the answer is, absolutely you are still benefiting! I love that you’re modifying in the way that feels best for your body while still challenging yourself - keep going and you’ll continue getting stronger each time you do it! 👏💪

Do I have to suck my tummy in with the abs workouts ?

Hi there, great question… there’s no need to suck your tummy in and actually, I would suggest you avoid doing that. If you’re having trouble connecting to your core and the breath alone isn’t helping, you might imagine gently tightening a corset around your waist or zipping up a pair of tight jeans as you exhale. Let me know if that helps!
