23 Minutes of Monster Hunter World Single-Player Gameplay 

Was wondering why the hunter kept missing swings on a stunned opponent, then I realized this was an IGN playthrough.

does anyone else keep expecting him to go to a new area and starting having to load?

it REALLY bothers me that they just run around and do things to show features off but they dont bloody attack the thing at all why do they run away from it smh..

I honestly like the fact that the monsters don't attack on sight unless you attack them first or enter their territory.

Why does the sound of the Great Sword hitting the monster feel like it's smashing rocks instead if flesh?

Scout flies look interesting and they certainly look like they'll be helpful for beginners, but I wonder if you can unequip/disable them

Last MH I played was MH Tri on the Wii xD defenitely gonna be playing this one, all these new mechanics look really great and the graphics do so as well. Also: Cat Armor Hype! Thank God its coming to PC ^^

I'm so hyped for this. I've been waiting for this since the release of Monster Hunter Frontier a decade ago. I've played every localized monster hunter release, save the most recent due to transfer to uni, and I have, at minimum, over 5000 hours logged across the games. I'm so happy Capcom finally made the decision to make this happen. I've probably spent another 100 hours signing petitions and researching how to play Frontier over here when I was much younger. Monster Hunter is my favorite series of all time, the ONLY series that I have stood by and will continue to stand by for years to come. I love you Capcom, you're making my dreams come true right now. I might not be the same little kid who started playing monster hunter on the ps2 thirteen years ago, but right now, I definitely feel like it. THANK YOU CAPCOM

looks like the gunner weps might be easier for new players to pick up for once thanks to the dmg numbers showing up. now that im seeing it, i cant even imagine how many times my shots did no dmg when i first gunned in past MH games.

How can you watch this and think it looks bad? This is a work in progress, and we have : natural traps, monster fights, open areas...this looks like what I always wanted Monster Hunter to become

So you don't need Paintballs anymore because the Scout Flies would guide you? And Paintballs is not necessary since the map is not separated into sections anyway?

that looked amazing, very cool. So many different animations also, This is definitely monster hunter showing Horizon Zero Dawn how monster hunting is done.

Seems the same where it counts with a few little changes that are not invasive to what monster hunter gameplay is. I hope the stats and skills and so on have not been simplified though. Will they still need speed eating?

I always wanted to play this since the other ones first came out so long ago .I watched vids when i was a kid bout bosses weapons and guides while most where i was from knew nothing about this game but i never had the ability to play ... but now I finally will 😆

Gonna be serious here. Compared to other MH games, with the inclusion of scoutflies and being able to change equipment mid-hunt, this one looks like it'll be put on easy mode for the new people.

Looks cool. The charm of the older games seems to still be there but just a lot more polished. I'm worried about how abusable the grappling hook will be tho, hopefully it will be something limited like 3/4 uses per hunt

Why is this comment section just another console war? Why are you fanatically advertising for the platform you're going to play on? Also, the video is pretty dull. Game looks great but why spend so much time explaining what we can see going on? A short and sweet gameplay demo without narration would have been more informative and fun without all these huge pauses to showcase mechanics that the trailer already told us about. Play the game as a person would play it instead of doing another slow checklist demo.

I wonder if they've gotten rid of paintballs and paint shot. Looks like they've ditched separate armor types for ranged and melee users. It also looks like monsters do less damage. I'm loving some of the new mechanics and the fact that there's no load interruptions. Can't wait to play it next year!

As a fan of the Monster Hunter series, the scout flies seem a bit like cheating. Part of the fun of MH was running around like WHERE THE HELL IS THIS THING? Eventually, you'd find what you were looking for, and soon learn patterns in where certain monsters liked to spawn/move to when fighting. I don't want or need hundreds of glowing orbs showing me where to look and I definitely don't need them to show me where a giant creature is running off to, that's what my eyes and paintballs are for.

I'm not a Nintendo sort of person myself but all these Sony players are literally the worst thing about this comment section. all I've seen so far is just everyone having a crack at people who played previous titles, which is pretty f****** disgusting considering you probably played the previous games as well but now that it better graphics version has come out you immediately turn onto the ferocious to attack everyone else who's against it. literally still can't believe this s*** amongst the community, if people don't like world then who f****** cares. that's their own opinion, they are allowed to not like a game. I like world and obviously having it come to PS4, Xbox One and PC means that I have to buy either one of those things, which is pretty annoying but I have the money to do so I can buy it freely. some people maybe can't afford it, while some other people might just not want to get it. I'm not really the one to debate about world considering we've seen nothing really about it, but I'm still looking forward to it as a Monster Hunter fan, is it so wrong that some people may just not like it? you can be a fan but still have problems with the game.

Looks amazing, as an avid fan of the PSP monster hunter titles, this feels like a really nice upgrade!

For the people that keeps saying that this game has a bad AI, in the gameplay says that the game is in development that means that most of the monsters have bad AI and they wil fix it, this version is a test version, the game is not even finished

Not carving the tail, running to the campment once the monster is injured so it can recover, and then changing the great sword, a situational weapon specially good at nuking inmovile targets (Like for example those sleeping? IDK) for a heavy bowgun going solo in a zone without heights...

always wanted to get into monster Hunter. hyped for this game it seems like a good jumping in point and on console hopefully the controls are easier to get used to

I hate how split our community is now, why not just enjoy all MH games? I, for one, will not be picking up this game solely bevlcause I want a more traditional experience (I also don't have any of the platforms it will be on). I like the idea of open world, it's cool! It's awesome, but it's not for me. I'll wait to get a Switch and go for MHXX's Japanese release. But that doesn't mean "This game is terrible", it just isn't for me but I hope everyone who plays it has loads of fun!

things im worried about for the game: how the grappling hook will effect the camera, how many monsters are gunna be in the game, how useful the other mechanics will be, thats all i can think of.

OMG! The game hasn't come out and all I see is a tutorial video but that means I have fully played it and therefore have legitimate reviews on a game that is only released early next year! Therefore it makes me a totally 100% fan of the game even though I have little to no knowledge of it! I also don't do research and realise that the franchise came out on Sony was more difficult before moving to Nintendo! Booohoooo

While there were many games I'm "considering" pre-ordering from E3 2017, this is the only guarantee for me! I haven't been able to play Monster Hunter since the PSP games way back! So hype!
