The Akira is my favourite ship and this is a great interpretation of it. The long nacelles balance the sharp Prometheus hull, she looks sleek. Even though the compact circular dish is similar to the Akira, I think a compact oval would have looked very classy. The skins as well as the design also look very sleek. Also, this is the first time I have seen a Federation Warbird hybrid, very interesting. The saucer and skin reminds me of the Federation Klingon Khitiomer... I know it's a deliberate design choice but it's appreciated.
The Viper class is by far the coolest thing I have seen for 25th Century Trek, bar none! The look, it's purpose... Awesome!!! I CAN'T WAIT for the next video! Terry Matelas, take note.
@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics It may be showing my age, but for some reason every time you reveal a new kit-bashed creation, it makes me miss my old FASA gamebooks and all the cool designs they had!
Well I wont tell anyone your age, so long as you dont tell anyone mine as my approach to Starship Kitbashing is directly related to my growing up with FASA lol I remember pouring over every aspect of those manuals while waiting for a new TOS Movie to come out lol
I love the look of this ship, the design just flows so naturally that someone not familiar with both ships it was kitbashed from would likely mistake it as a purpose-built independent design. Keep up the great work!
Love how all the ship elements fit together, creating a nice flow and giving the faint look of starfleet delta, overall fantastic ship design coupled with fitting textures and illumination making a cohesive whole

Marvellous indeed. Quite the prelude to a reconciliation between Vulcans and Romulans in the long run. The only critique I have is that Sela would most unlikely remain Tal Shiar leader. I think in the power-vacuum of Shinzon, she would rise opposing Donatra in an attempt to instate herself as new Praetor. She's ambitious enough, devious, and ruthless.

I didn’t know how else to contact you, but check out the USS Jacoby launches by Misha Seigfried. A very neat design that strengthens the struts used by the constitution class and has a secondary hole reminiscence of the Oberth class.
I know you may not see this, but what tools do you use to kit-bash your ships? I have a design I need to render, but don't want to model it from scratch.

Not sure if this was your entirely original design, but I had seen a similar fan creation over a decade ago that was basically attaching the Prometheus saucer to an Akira hull. This version is very nicely built with the sleek Sovereign-style nacelles and the underslung Excelsior-style deflector and would make sense for a post-Nemesis Star Trek galaxy, but the third nacelle almost seems weird for a ship without the ability to detach the saucer from the rest of the ship
This is my own design, though I wouldnt be surprised if historically others have had the same type of idea! As for the 3rd Nacelle, the reason for it was given in the video, and as canon has shown us, the addition of a third nacelle isnt limited to ships that have detachable components. In fact, canon shows us 3 Nacelles are mostly on ships that do have that capability! See the Federation, Niagara, Galaxy X etc etc
Great Akira/Prometheus kitbash . Columbia secondary hull? And Sagan/Connie3 nacelles. Somehow it just works, even though the Akira and Prometheus hulls are pretty dated by 2401.
Says who? The Akira Class is clearly a part of Season 2 of Picard... And the Prometheus Class is still in service in the 26th Century, See Star Trek Enterprise!So obviously its not dated at all... And dated in Starfleet is at least a century if not more!
what's the purpose of higher standard warp speed if they can use quantum slipstream or transwarp? everything above warp 9,99 clash with transwarp in efficiency
The difference between warp 9.99 and Transwarp "1" is exponential! Meaning not just a slight step up, but a major one. Making Transwarp not a viable way to travel between star systems or shorter distances!
I never uploaded any ships to begin with... I gave them to the owner of the Star Trek Pack to add them to his pack... However, Recently SE has fired him, and he has removed the Star Trek Pack. So I doubt you will see any of these ships come to SE!
