Loved the Defiant in Deep Space 9. Even though the United Federation of Plants had a treaty with The Romulans, not to produce any cloaked ships. I wouldn't have agreed to it and developed our own class of Star Fleet's cloaked ships. Thanks for the video.
Speaking of Montgomery Scott, his appearance in the 1701D was, I thought, a very clever aligory about gasoline engines. In the episode Dyson Sphere, Scotty steps on Laforge's toes regarding the warp core's temperature; it was too hot and on the verge of a meltdown, until Laforge explains that the core was designed to operate at that temperature. FF a couple of decades, Im watching a forensic files where a man was nearly convinced of arson, until they found lead particles in the gasoline accelerant. This proved the man innocent because there was no leaded gasoline in the area for some time. It had been used as a solvent by the original builders decades ago. What does that have to do with Star Trek? Well, lead is primarily used as a radiation inhibitor, most commonly heat, so they used to put lead in gasoline to help absorb heat, keeping engine temperature cooler. However, modern gasoline is unleaded because modern combustion engines can operate at higher temperatures. So, in the 1960s (OS Star Trek era) most cars used leaded gasoline. By the 90s (STNG era), leaded gasoline was virtually phased out. Scotty's alarm over engine temperatures (whether intentional or not) I thought was a very clever aligory for leaded gasoline between the 2 eras. My compliments to the writers.
Every star base having two defiant class starships stationed with them on a permanent basis with permanent birthings for six more, making every star base a potential war hub if and when necessary, in addition every star base to have two intrepid class starships, with permanent birthings for two more, again making every star base a permanent mobile hub not only for defense but for exploration. Defiant & intrepid a core force of Starfleet and the federation.
In my head cannon, after my beloved pioneer cruiser had been destroyed I was asked by the temporal time admiral to pick a new ship….that ship was this and while fighting the onslaught of the Terran Empire fleet this ship served me well. Thanks.
A) the Freedom Class of the 24th Century was a single nacelle design. B) The Freedom Class did not have a similar (or any) array such as that on the Aranda Class and C) The Freedom Class was not a Science Vessel... So again, Im not sure what you mean as there are NO connections between the 2...
@@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics then I have the wrong class name. I remember a two nacells, ship that had three hulls the secondary hull was basically a deflector underslung and the third hull was a sensor power house build above the saucer section
This is exactly why Star Trek enterprise show is my favorite. It starts with basic technology and ends up bridging the gaps( if refit is canon). It’s a shame seasons 5-7 weren’t made. The Romulan war could have been epic
all right (slaps card on table repeatedly) I'll take a dicast model for my desk. love the design. this is one of the multiple nacelle ships that would also look asome as a single nacelle variant. love the angled bow torpedo launchers very unique. keep 'em coming.
It's so much better than a Mere-anda class;) ( Horrible joke, I'll just be leaving now...very cool ship...) Btw, and chance of a kitbashed transport tug?.
Cool Starship Kitbash. I really like the Picard Style necells like seen on the Enterprise G and the Stargazer. I wonder how your Aranda class would look like with the standard two necell configuration.
Cool design. Star Trek Picard S3 introduce new classes and throwback to 23rd and 24th century designs. I really like the Picard style necells like on the Titan A / Enterprise G
Heyo, I love your videos and this ship is pretty neat. With that said, it gave me an epic comedy idea. A fan ship that sucks. A ship that was made and it just didn't work on epic levels. Have the video end with saying, even though the ship wasn't the fastest, or the toughest, or the most armed, and well also didn't have the greatest scanner, it did look cool and isn't that all that matters. Also have it not even look all that great. I mean have it look like a real starship etc but not super amazing or what not. The reason I think this is funny and please do not take this as a criticism because you aren't really as guilty of this as other people I have seen who do fan designs but fan designs ships tend to always be the best of the best. Most of the time better than anything we have seen on screen. Always reminds me of kids playing pretend and just trying to one up each other. Like I said this isn't really a criticism of you or even anyone. I would do the same type of thing on a few fan made ships if I put in tons of work in designing and making up a backstory. Also though in reality, some good stories could be done on screen or in books about a starfleet ship that is a prototype nx serial numbered ship that just wasn't great at all.
