Bought the exact same swag last week from Snowy’s and absolutely love it! Bought awning poles with it. Super impressed with the attention to detail, quality of materials and the roof vents. About time someone did a decent review of the Outbreak. Nice review! 👌
We purchased this swag and have had it for about 1 and a half years now and we love it how ever we feel it’s still pretty heavy for some part all we have is a duck feather blanket and a sleeping bag which weighs next to nothing but the swag still feels big and heavy lifted patrol can be a challenge to get it on the roof some times Has anyone else thought the same?
I've had this for over a year now and it's an awesome swag. The only downside is the poles don't fold up nicely so it's annoying to pack in with the swag.
Bought the same swag last week from Snowy's. Have set it up a couple of times. Impressed by the quality, features and ease of set up. Mattress is super comfy. Now ready for our trip to "The Tip" early September. So looking forward to the trip:D
I wonder what winds the rain fly could handle? Those little hooks on a bit of elastic couldn’t hold much surely. I’d hate to lose my fly in a strong gust. All in all, I love the swag (swent) though.
Ive had the outbreak for 2 years now I think, bought it soon after release. Absolutely love it, so comfy. Only downside is how big it rolls but that was expected with how big it is.
How tall are you? This swag seems short in this video. I am 6'0 and wondering if I will be able to stretch right out while sleeping? How comfortable is the mattress? Thanks John.
I’m about 5’6 and I still have plenty of leg room. The swag looks small from the outside but inside it’s very roomy. The mattress is great we find it very comfortable to sleep in.
I'm having a Jeep Wrangler JKU as well, i wonder if this 23zero Outbreak swag will fit at the back seat of Wrangler? Reason being i don't have a roof rack yet, and i'm having fridge and drawers setup at the boot already. How's your experience with this swag so far? Would u recommend to go for this model of swag, or rather 2 separate single swag for couple? Thanks mate.
Hey buddy, we are obsessed with this swag. Unfortunately I’m thinking the length of this swag may be a little to long to possibly fit along the back seat. I would test it on my but I have done a rear seat delete with a fridge slide etc. but if there is some way around it I would definitely get your hands on this swag.
@@verticalindustries4wdandad596 thanks buddy, we ended up went for 23Zero 1400 Bandit, and we could fit in the back seat of the car. Enjoying the quality of swag so far, just need to put on some wax on the zippers to make it smoother, all good.
hey mate I have a 2013 jk wrangler and I purchased a fold down storage rack off ebay that was under $150 I usually have a esky and waterproof storage case with the outbreak on top been on a few trips now have had 0 issues I wasn't going to fork out big bucks for a roofrack just way expensive n out of my budget
yeah mate was at cresent head had a good 48hours of solid rain flooding all around us swag held up perfectly couldn't have picked a better swag only water that got in was from off of us going too the toilet and getting back in the swag 👍
@@mattyb1624 the fly is optional, the swag is waterproof without it, the fly is designed to help with condensation by allowing you to open the roof panels when it is raining. that being said, even with the fly, it does not go out far enough to cover the entire window, so it would still not work the way you think it would. actually, i do. my house has the fly screen inside the window, there is a lever attached to a gear that when turned, opens the window, but the fly screen is still on the inside when the window is closed. though, i'm not sure what the problem is, if you think the fly covers the window, leave it the canvas part unrolled when it is raining and see what happens
How many bugs are gonna get in during the 2 secs while you let the flaps down (or whatever)? Besides, I much value good weatherproofing and the ability to have a pegged out awning (if eyelets are built into the corner of the flaps).
