I just discovered swag tents. Im from Canada and had no idea these exsitsted until I started watching some 4wd 24/7 overlanding videos from Aus (want to visit one day, love the ruggedness of your country). What a perfect tent for our climates as well. Rugged, well built, self-contained and can freestand without pegs if needed. I just managed to find an importer the other side of the country that can supply me a 23 Zero 1400 so I went for it. Very pricey for a "tent" but if im living out of it for a few weeks at a time, then I need something sturdy. Your video helped me pull the trigger on it.
Have had mine for a couple of years now and love it. Great swags. I have put in a mattress overlay for added comfort. I roll mine up the overlay and double sleeping bag in it and it still fits in the bag. happy travels.
Glad to hear it. I'm going to buy one this week. Will have one single sleeping bag spead out for base and double sleeping back for cover. I'm imagining it will be very comfortable. If it all still fold into the bag I will be extremely happy. Also I heard you can leave the poles in place in the middle and just sperate and roll up the swag. Is this possible? If so it will save alot of the set up and pack up time.
@@arkhamkillzone Sounds like you will have a good nights sleep with that setup. I haven't tried rolling it with the poles in place, but seen it done on other videos. It would save a couple of minutes for setup and pack down I'm sure. Enjoy the swag.
There’s a slight gap, but only minor. Mattress is basically the same size as the swag. The mattresses should only vary in width, not length. Ie the swags are all the same length.
