Unfortunately that is the case! You could possibly look at running a memory setting like Hiro (which will also give +2k dp when you swing). However the memory boosts and trainings should be enough to help you through

Having a way to stack the deck would be nice, I'll have to trial it and see how it goes.

@@MiniKill it could also provide some protection against battle if you have a commandra in the stack and an extra one on the field, just some food for thought

Good question! Shakkomon protects you from your opponents Digimon effects. Even if you have to go a second turn, then you're either going to have too much DP for them to touch you or you have too many sources or in the worst case, you have the KoHagurumon token which has decoy.
