Dubrovnik (Ragusa) was also a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Because Croatia isn't far away from Austria (and Austria is a land-locked country), some Austrians have their boats in Croatia. I love the classic Börek with potato and cheese. Tasting local food is one of the highlights of every travel.
Oh that’s really interesting about some Austrians having their boats in Croatia! We should’ve tried the potato and cheese! We just don’t eat goat’s cheese and no one knew which kind of milk was in it!
