Minus the line, I think both turned out pretty. Michelle, the bag mold is great, and Don, the blue is so vibrant. I call a draw. They are both beautiful. 😊❤
I would have taken the chance and poured in one. I’ve poured a 10 cm mould with no probs - didn’t use a curing machine though. I have heard if you pour the second layer before the first is cured (still soft) it works.
I’m going to try again with no layers. I ended up not using the curing machine too. And because of the timing when it was tacky to pour we were sleeping 🤦♀️ so all my ideas backfired 🥴
for me Don wins this one i can defo see that there is a rose inside, with yours michelle the rose looks squashed at the top, so maybe the wrong mould for the design you wanted as for the lines, dont let the first pour fully cure before you do the 2nd pour, it will blend together better
I won't vote, but I'll give you a giggle. I've been repackaging my micas and glitters, so everything in my house is now shiny, including me, my cat, and the air conditioner intake vent. My cat also is sporting an orange arm and a pink belly because he hates baths.😂😂😂
I think the roses would have looked better in a large sphere or cube mold. The poor roses are squished and obstructed by the narrowness and lines of the molds you used. Aren't you supposed to pour the next layer when the previous layer has only partially cured, so you don't get the lines?
What good fun how disappointing about the lines I’ve done the crystal mold in one pour with deep pour resin. Make sure you give them a mother go ❤I love watching your videos especially the challenge ones always make me laugh 😂
Too bad you got lines. Thank you for sharing this video regardless. I bought some of the roses to do the same thing with. I am glad to know what not to do if I have to split the pour up. You are both so much fun to watch. ❤❤❤
Without the lines they are both very pretty. I would have poured them in layers also, in fact I have a bookend mold going that is probably going to do that same thing 😢! It’s been a few days. Thanks for the lesson learned!
I love them both the line is okay the glitter on his looks like magic coming off the Rose place a ribbon around that line nobody'll see it I love your competition's you to keep going good
well I waited for this competition, and how sad that it didn't come to fruition. The good news is you can have ANOTHER comptition right away. NO vote from me. Next time you need to choose a mold fitting the object. Love you both😍😍🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Sad it didn't work out. I think I would have voted Michelle. The slight glitter and rocks made it for me. I'll figure out another challenge. If I wasn't afraid it might not get here in time I would order you the cheshire cat pumpkin. 😁
By the way my vote goes for his Mister Glitz inator like yours best hate autocorrect you both have a great day I'm looking forward to all of your competitions I've even watched several a couple of times
I love the little bag mold though! It would be really cute with some resin or plastic (or whatever) goldfish in it like you just picked them up from the pet store!😄
There can still be a winner! Why not? No, neither one is without flaws, but one has fewer flaws. Sorry, but I think Michelle took the best of the worst award. That did sound exactly right, but I’m not going to try and fix it. You know what I mean. Thanks for the entertainment!
I think I may have heard somewhere (?) that an alcohol spray between pours may cause that line, (but I don't know if you did) I'm not sure though. They have flopped equally. Not picking a winner though - I feel the rose was a bit too big, maybe something a bit more delicate next time? But.......it is a joy watching the two of you compete together - thank you! 🫶
