In this video we work on getting the main hoop/funny car bars figured out. We also look at some trig to help us calculate bar angles/lengths! metigulous.com/merch Insta: Metigulous Facebook: / metigulous MUSIC: / lakeyinspired
agreed... you rush, things get missed.... how about straight time lapse... single point... we don't need fancy, just you to be safe, fast... and making money... ALL OF YA!!...WATCH THE DAMN ADS!
That's it....Ed's Garage has it right. If you feel like you need to take some time and and get some real work done, set the camera up in the corner and time lapse it. Don't spend hours editing and getting all of the fancy camera angles and shots. And....only do this if you feel like it. Take care of yourself and don't run yourself ragged.
Don't stress bro if you don't make it to cleetus and cars this time, he's going to have more! Stressing yourself will make you loose love for the sport. keep your head up and keep chugging brother you got this!
Totally agree, a video is a bonus. The safety of the occupant it's more necessary. If I don't see a video for 3 weeks no stress, just have to catch up. To see a vid of the start and the next the car hitting the track would be enough for me.
Don’t sweat that deadline. If you make it, you make it. If you don’t, you don’t. So what. We don’t care if you finish this April or next. We’re all just here to watch you work. Stay on it! Make it bad ass!! Make it perfect! That’s all we care about! It’ll be ready when it’s ready.........
Damn dude, you're almost at 82K subs at this time and killing it! Takes time to gather experience and learn the reality of expectations. You're not failing if you can learn and overcome road blocks. I bet next time you have such a challenge, you'll be better prepared and have more knowledge. Just keep at it man, we all see that you are learning a lot as you go, just takes time.
It's pretty cool that he went from getting constant shit for running a car that fast without a cage, to basically going full send on what is probably twice as much cage as he'll ever need.
You're killing it man!! Forget the deadline, it can take the fun out of things. It's a masterpiece already. You're an inspiration. Life is about hard work. Pride and satisfaction is the result. You're creating wonderful memories that you'll enjoy forever. Keep it up!!!!!!!
It’s awesome your hanging with your grandpa bonding. I just lost mine yesterday. I’ll cherish those memories like this forever. Never take them for granted
I hear you man, Remember its the off season/winter. In order for this to work out it needs to be something that is work and you love. The love has to be deep to get through the hard times. But in the end you need to pay the bills. Cleetus would be great for expanding the channel, but there's always another.
I don't do inspirational quotes but.... remember what Churchill said. 'When going through Hell, Keep going!" You have developed your own style in the years I have been watching you, it works. However, if the RU-vid stuff doesn't take off I think you have a great future as a teacher!
Keep it up! I know who it feels, I'm building a house by myself. Sometimes it takes forever to do something, but keep chipping away a little at a time and it will come together!
Awesome work, you are definitely an achiever, can’t wait to see the full potential of this car, and you will always have a special car knowing you built it and built it right, inspiring others along the way 👍🔥🇦🇺
Super impressed with the knowledge of trig and all that math that calculated. Good to know you're not cutting corners and doing it right. Love the progress!!!
I have learned so many practical techniques from your videos. Don't stress yourself out with project updates. Keep the teaching moments coming when you have time. I am a mechanic that aspires to be a fabricator, and I appreciate the in-depth lessons you present.
Hayden i can promise your not out of place here on RU-vid. I look foward to 4 RU-vidrs uploading vids and your one of them. Hard work always pays off bro.
Dang that funny car cage is coming together nicely. I really did enjoy you explaining the bends, I found it super interesting. I didn’t realize so much work goes into those things. You Hayden are a very talented person. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to watching all content you put out, even if it takes a week for a video. We all can understand the pressure your under trying to get that cage banged out for cleetus and cars. Take your time, you’re a master of your craft. These things don’t come together over night. And hey even if you don’t finish in time which I hope you do. You can always bring your wago out there and just chill and have fun. Don’t rush yourself take your time bc I know you don’t want to have to redo any of that treacherous work. Thanks for the great content and showing us all the skills and knowledge that goes into your race car build.
I think you have made great progress. I like that even though your on a time crunch you are still making sure everything is done right and not cutting corners. Keep up the great work. I hope you get it done in time for Cleetus And Cars, but if you don't I feel most people will understand.
i cant tell you how happy i am that you actually took he dash out ! seen Kyle do cages and always he skips this part and im like actually yelling at the screen lmao, it really helps when the time comes to do anything under there and you can just pull it off whenever and i think it looks alot cleaner too tugged as close to a pilar as possible.
Keep up the good work big bro. The struggle will be your success. this time next year you'll look back at this video after your 7 second passes and realize it was worth it all
If you don’t make it, don’t worry. You’re doing it right and honestly, this has been some great content no matter what. I think all of us are just glad you are making your car safe. You sure have more energy and motivation than most of us.
You got this Hayden. All of your stress, and hard work is really impacting a lot of us. You are a huge motivation to us man. I know you can pull this off and make the raddest shit eveeeerr. That puzzle piece might not fit right now, however your just getting the border of the puzzle done first. Give it two weeks and everything should fall into place man, and all of that hard work will show/be appreciated. Love ya bro!
Thanks for your honesty at the end bro!! Keep pushing bro!! You got the dream team around you. Don't hesitate to ask for a hand from all the people around you, your boys will come through for you I'm sure. Keep pushing homie!!
Definitely not easy to explain Trig & Roll cage building, really have to be hands on with it & do a few! You cage / chassis work is coming out amazing, it’s a lot of work & you are obviously busting ass to get it done. I enjoy all the videos so keep up the good work! Was really cool your Grandpa was hanging out & helping!
Keep up the killer work man! Slow progress is always better than no progress. If you feel the time crunch just put the camera down and focus on your goals. We all enjoy seeing the progress videos but we will all understand you needing/wanting to focus on just getting all that tedious fabrication work completed.
I can relate to the frustration of feeling like you're not reaching your end goal. I build and tune 3D printers and often spend hours/weeks cussing trying to troubleshoot and repair intricate parts, just so I can print something on a time-crunch. But then I remind myself to take a deep breath and remember that it's the hobby I chose, And I love tinkering and building and fixing, and there's no reason for me to get upset about it. Yea, sometimes it takes way too damn long to get to the finished product, and it stops feeling like a hobby and starts feeling like a never ending chore. but Take a deep breath and remember why you started, you probably love welding, modifying and most of all seeing the end goal. Keep up your grind, but take a deep breath. You've gotten a shit-ton of work done in the last few months, despite what it feels like. You're almost there. Hope this helps.
I know how you feel. It gets overwhelming sometimes. I've been spinning my wheels on my own project car and there are times I get super frustrated because it feels like I am getting no where. Just take a deep breath and do what you can do.
Your doing a great job dont give up on your dream bro love the progress on the rx7 your wielding is flawless bro hold that head up man ....u got this ........
You got this man! Just take your time building the car the way you want, and don't worry about deadlines. Cars are stressful enough, make sure you enjoy your time with the car. Deadline or not, it will be worth it in the end.
EDS Garage hit it. It's your car it's your dream we as viewers really do appreciate what you do for us. Get some sleep eat something come back fresh and ready. You are doing great looks great. If i ever need a roll bar I'll come to you for the math segments. Thankyou for everything you do. Keep up the great work love the content.
Mate, you have a great channel and your car is awsome i carnt believe how far you've gone and done with it, its a real inspiration to the rest of us, dont force it bro you have great content and are always achieving heaps. Good stuff mate.
F Don’t give up man!!! I feel your pain I’ve been working my ass off all winter on my car and I want it done by April also. And hopefully I’m getting the cage this weekend.keep it up
You can do it !! While you are climbing the mountain take a breath, turn around and check all the ground you covered and look at scenery for the beauty ! Keep hustling! What matters is to finish! Not always a perfect deadline! Take care of you !
I 100% feel you at the end of the video. You get a lot more done than me on average, but I definitely understand. If you don't make it, you'll be there for the next event man! You took on a huge project. Awesome progress.
Hayden, tell yourself you just got the attention & respect of an old Australian guy you've never met, who has also built a few toys in his 58 years. You're doin good stuff mate, have a quick sesh and get back into it. Encouragement from Aus'....
Don't let it eat you up your only one man with two hands and a lot of heart so never give in and never give up !!! You always find away of getting it do that's why we love your channel and it's great content thanks for sharing your life with all of us.
Don't sweat it bro. I enjoy your work anyway, even if you don't make it in the time you want to. It is educational for is too because it shows us how hard it is to do what y'all do. You are taking us step by step in the process of making a extensive roll cage. Most of us may never be able to make a 10 point cage, let alone a full funnycar rollcage dude. And you are killing it! Impressive how you even shared all the math in bending all the peaces. Don't beat yourself up about a deadline bro. Simply means more interesting content for us😉👍 keep going dude, I love the content and I'm realy impressed by all the craftmanship going into this build. Greets from Holland 👍✌
Keep at it. I'm impressed that you are taking on the challenge to do a full funny car cage. When you get it certified you will know all the pain will go away and you will have achieved the goal. You make amazing headers so this is you learning and obviously it's a journey, but we believe you can do it Haden Keep digging away piece by piece it will come together.
Good work brotha. Just do you and what your comfortable doing. Your only one man. That cage is sick! Worth the wait. I'm just getting started on my RU-vid venture, 8 subs so far and I'm stoked! You've grown alot in your content and editing since I subbed to your channel. Thanks for what you do man
Awesome work Hayden! You're doing your best and that's all that matters. If you don't get it done by your deadline then so be it. Go to Cleetus and Cars and have fun with your friends instead and meet your fans. Sometimes no matter how hard you work the time is just not enough. No wrong in the work you put in but it's just hard to set a good deadline. And honestly it puts a lot of unecessary stress on you. As long as you are putting in the work it will be done when it does. Many gives up when they have started on these big projects like building cars is. With doing the awesome work you do it's going to be one great race car in the end I'm sure of. So don't beat on your self if it's not done by CaC. There are a lot of races left in the season and also some other CaC to go to. Excited to see the RX7 goes down the 1/4 mile fast and safe! Keep up the hard work. And the filming and the content is amazing and interesting. Thanks for shareing your work with us Hayden!
