Great list. There was a few games I wasn't aware of that I need to check out. I spent alot of time playing Degeneration, Pirates Gold, and Liberation: Captive II on my CD32. Microcosm was really hyped up, but I grew bored with it soon.

Pirates! is one of the best games ever made. Every version of it on every system is brilliant, from C64 to XBox.

Did they ever intend to Colecovision the CD32 to attach to the Amiga 500? My knowlege of that era is very hazy now.

I've just gotten back into Amiga gaming and couldn't afford a real Amiga or CD32 so bought TheA500, what a great machine. I was very glad to find the This list of CD32 game and the download of 100 games but the link no longer works. Does anyone know if the download is available elsewhere?

Quite a few good one there, and a few that I’ve missed! Loved Beneath a Steal Sky, and Super frog. But D-Generation! it’s so great, atmospheric and fun. Sometimes tricky. They need to make a movie out of it ASAP! 🤔🙂👍

I'm still figuring out what I should use as controller with the A500. The pad shipped with it is so laggy and stiff compared to TAC-2 on my real Amiga 500. I don't have wired Xbox360 controllers (some say that they are OK), I'm guessing does the Xbox One controller work OK? Or PS4 controller?

Yeah..that Zool was frustrating the hell out of me. The jump mechanism and timings are all over the place. I vowed not to play it again. It’s good the CD 32 version is miles better. It’s another reason why I’d like to see a Maxi carousel type of software editing tool for the Amiga mini. We need better games or version of games on the carousel. Even if Chaos Engine is blindingly good, there’s some turkeys. The pinball game isn’t great on the carousel. However there’s many pinballers on the Amiga platform. There’s no Monkey island on the carousel- a groundbreaking Amiga title.

I picked up an A500 mini too out of curiosity but I have to say, the Amiga library just isn’t doing it for me. I think the problem for me is the lack of Japanese developed games on the platform really hurts it. It would have been awesome to see what a Taito, Capcom, Konami, or a Data East could have done on the platform. I’ve tried to give it a fair shot but if I’m honest I just can’t get into the slippery controls of these EuroPlatformers and other titles. They just seem so unpolished compared to the Japanese stuff I grew up mostly playing on the Genesis/Mega Drive or SNES. Again, I’ve tried to give them a go but there’s something about the aesthetics and overall feel and vibe of most of these European developed games in that era that just doesn’t click with me. The art style is off (has too much color gradient; prefer flatter color) and the controls as I mentioned earlier are too slippery feeling and full of momentum (as if every level feels like you’re running on ice).

Great vid! Just the sort of thing I've been looking for, helps when trying to figure out what's great and what's complete pants! Have u tried Captive (Liberation 2) if so how's it run? 1 of my fave cd32 games back in the day.

Bought the A500 mini and oh boy I'm diaappointed. Neither of the built-in games nor any of your (or other channels') recommendations grab me. In comparison with the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive I'd always prefer the Sega. Seems there's some very strong romantic retro love for the system, and for a home computer I understand this, but as a gaming systems the Sega imho is ahead in almost any respect.

Is it just me or is the title of this seems very obvious. Perhaps its 25 because 25 games come with the mini so "may as well make it the same"
