For Explorer there are 2 camps. On one side those that like a high quality fragrance. And on the other side people that dislike it because they want to justify spending 200-300 pounds on Aventus.
@@RonaldJapenga never had an issue with any batches. Been wearing it for almost a decade people exaggerate the batches just to talk about something. Same with GIT new batches one spray last 24hrs. My guess is you've never had aventus ?

Better quality way better performance and smells identical to aventus unlike explorer, Especially the 2020 batch of cdnim they upgraded it and it is the best batch yet. Your wasting your time and money on explorer stuff is garbage just like all mont blanc frags
I agree with this list, although I haven’t smelled the Hermès, I’m sure it’s wonderful. The only downside to recommending MI is that the performance isn’t great so spending $400 on an underperforming frag might bother some
Chanel Bleu Parfum is great but the Bleu EDP is the crown jewel from that line in my opinion, the most balanced of the bunch-it also works like magic on me. I have Milestone and love it, had a group dinner recently and the whole table started talking about it, very loved!
Millesime Imperial & Club de nuit Milestone are literally sunshine in a bottle, I feel simultaneously lucky and unlucky to have found them so early in my fragrance journey, they set the bar so high I don't think they will ever be surpassed, yet I would be deeply sad if anything ever does.

My personal five are: 1) Oud Wood by Tom Ford ( Pure class in a bottle) 2) Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford ( versatile and works all year around) 3) Narciso Rodriguez for him EDP ( Heavenly Musc and so criminally underrated that i dont know wtf is wrong with all you reviewers. How could you not have appreciated such a scent?) 4) L Instant de Guerlain Edt. ( a woman almost ate me once and wanted passionately to know what I was wearing and i didnt even know her) 5) Zino by Davidoff. ( Forget Beau de Jour, Rive Gauche and all their hype and buy this) Think of the Rat Pack having their drinks, smoking their cigars, playing snooker in a room foul of wood and old leather chairs. Thats what it smells like.
Wouldn't be too worried about Dior Homme discontinuing, considering Valentino Uomo smells almost identical (and perhaps even better)? At least when I tried it in the shop

Nice recommendations, will have to check out that Armaf Milestone :) About the Hermes, first time hearing about it, will try to sample it. That seems to be just one of some Creeds with quality issues. Agnes Eva (I'm sure many other RU-vidrs too, likely) made a video comparing different batches of Aventus (2015 vs 2019), and the differences were staggering in smell and performance. She had each on each arm, the drydowns were so different she summarized: basically two different fragrances. So indeed clones (not just of Aventus) might be more faithful to the originals than newer batches.
My favorite Chanel for men is platinum égoïste smells phenomenal on my body and the constant attention I get from women of ages 20 and up is quite flattering 👍

Dior Homme parfum is better for me but I do have both Dior EDT the original is nice but it don't last long on me . I got both from Dior website. Chanel bleu EDT I always wear maybe I try the Chanel parfum next time

I'm now fascinated to get my nose on a sample of Hermes Eau des Merveilles, as I already know that Hermes do a phenomenal (albeit devastatingly short-lasting) orange note in Eau d'Orange Verte. Here's hoping this is longer lasting.....
for me my Number One is Blue Agave by Richard Heprin and Carbon by Aaron Terence Hughes . My favs honorable mention to Chanel Allure Homme the original.
My wife favourite perfume is elixir by Hermes. I think so too it is an amazing perfume and wouldn’t mind wear it. However, recently I’ve got Hermes H24, and I think it has some of the Elixir DNA with a bit of masculine twist. Is really amazing and beautiful perfume, long lasting, with a nice transformation through the day. This too could easily be a unisex perfume.
I’m so nervous about never smelling the original Dior Homme. You’ve convinced me to make me want to buy multiple bottles. I was about to grab Stronger with you Intensely but that can wait
Hello SIR ! In your professional (obviously) opinion, you actually think Explorer is a better Clone than Club De Nuit Intense ? I thought I heard that Club De Nuit Intense performed better than Explorer. I'm asking because I was just just about to pull the trigger on Armaf. Thanks in advance for your blessings
I own CDN Intense. You will need to spray it loads as the smell tends not to last. It does get compliments but need to massively over spray. It does have a slightly synthetic smell, but smells really nice. Not sure if your own nose just cant pick it up when you are yourself wearing it. Any clothes you get it on and go back in the wardrobe. They smell amazing with the dry down weeks later. Don't overpay for it however.

Lol Dior Sauvage Pretty Cool Spray is the best out of all if you don't like the EDT, i hate the EDT but love thr Very Cool Spray edition. It's heavy on the grapefruit and it's a really juicy one on that as well. Trust me get it and it lasts and lasts. People don't really talk about it since it's in a can and not a glass bottle.
Great series, lots of great recommendations. I too love MI ! I have a 15x01 bottle and it’s stunning ! I smelled a new bottle . It was a 2020 batch , and it was almost shameful to call it MI ! Surprised Bleu de Chanel Parfum does work. I have had the same experience with the other ones, who just didn't work on my skin, and didn't even bother to try the more expensive parfum. Now I'm going to get a tester and see how people react (i.e. lost my sense of smell). 😎👍
true story.. i just sold my 100mL 18D01 Millesime Imperial and that batch is 🔥🔥 for a more recent. only reason i sold it is bc i came across a bnib 120mL 16C01 tester. can't wait to get it!
I agree with you on alot of things but definitely not on mont blanc explorer. It has that wannabe aventus citrus in the opening and that's it there is no heart there is no dry down it is very linear with below average performance it's cloying and annoying and in no way it will never be the cool water of this time. It won't reach that status
Depends on the skin type i belive, i just bought the Explorer, for me as a normal human being that does not want to pay for Aventus compared to other clones it does it for me, it s not really a clone cause it has Aventus vibes but that woody drydown for my nose is genial
I was sure you talked about it not only Elisha....i saw this video in the past, anyhow....bought it blindly... waiting to receive it and smell (got it for 35$ EDT)...i am now looking for midnight in paris (looking means not more than 35$😅 but confused EDT or EDP, i think i will go for EDT....)
So many people have told me to get the edp of BDC that it’s the best in terms of overall performance and scent. Screw them and screw that I’m going all in on the parfum version and getting the 5 oz at Macy’s.

I did try Eau des Merveilles from Hermes, it is strongly synthetic and without any character, a really generic commercial fragrance. I do not understand the hype at all.
1 Carolina Herrera Ch is my favourite noting smell like it plus my gf loves it . 2 ysl l'homme le parfum all the women at my work love it I love the smell of it 3 Dior homme parfum everyone at my work loves it and it last so long to. Amazing smell. 4 pulse of the night issey miyake is easy to wear and smell amazing. 5 montblanc individuel amazing smell last a long time and is so cheap too. 6 creed aventus no need to say anything about that lol
I love MI too! I love the airiness of it. Unfortunately clones and Middle East Fragrances are very strong and thick. Is that the same case with the Armaf?
