A 25 Minute class to help mobilize the neck, shoulders, and upper back. This class gets into the subtle body and the energetic significance of what we're addressing with the upper back or thoracic spine.
I really felt this in the back and the shoulders, very nice session. Did this in the dark at 5:30am, in Canada its -4C and cloudy - think we will get some snow today. Shout out to those around the world doing this challenge! Thank you Tim and Ollie, see you tomorrow 😊
I love how you are showing a wider range than the usual vinyasa and difficult classes. This is easy enough for beginners to start to make yoga a habit.
Day 9 already ... I love the way this flow makes my back and shoulders feel afterwards, computer work is killing my back. Thank you Tim and Ollie (heartwarming how he looked at you at one point) 😊
Great teachings today Tim! I liked how you generally talked about the chakras and the heart being balanced at the center of the emotional lower and cognitive upper…provided me with some visualizations during the practice 😊
Great flow Tim. I'm loving your "choose your adventure" format - I alternate between a breathwork and a flexibility session every day, and also between the guided and the silent shavasana. It's really working for me, Thanks so much.
Great day on the mat! I missed yesterday due to meeting and other commitments but great to continue. This is the longest I’ve done the challenge consistently instead of sprinkling it in with my other workouts. Started with one of my inspirational niece @goodlifebygrace core workouts followed by Day 9 and repeated day 5 and sauna. The best feeling in the world is your first down dog of the day. Thank you for this! 🎉❤
Thanks for today's class. Taking some time to work on backbends is always useful for me. I tend to hurt my lower back a lot and focusing on opening my heart and bending from my upper back really helps protect my lower back. Day 9 completed! See you tomorrow!
This was one of my favorite classes so far in the challenge, can't say why. Actually, they've all been really good, just enjoying the whole experience. Thanks again Tim.
Thanks for this Tim!!!!! My back had a lot of tension and was very right from 7-8 hours of computer work yesterday. I feel MUCH more open and aligned and my neck much more relaxed. Keep up the good work!!!
This was a really great session to start my day here in Australia at 5am. Definitely some new and different poses that really helped mobilise my spine today. Thank you Tim & Ollie🧘♀
Thanks Tim, what an amazing class! For me the most surprising bodily response was how psoas and quads were shaking when up on my knees and leaning back. Wow! I learned something there. Thanks again, you rock
So glad I found this channel, been running through different yoga teachers on RU-vid and finding your channel was phenomenal for my mental!! Thanks bro
I really need this thank you. You really get into all the right places and make it so clear to follow. I have a painful curvature in my spine and this has eased it. ❤
Great flow for an open start into a new week! I have to say, some poses on Dayy 8+9 felt different, better, aligned and more relaxed when I started to breath "better" ... Thank you, Tim, for surprising me/us every day!
Thank you again Tim for an amazing class and your humour, I really feel it helps me sometimes to remind myself not to take myself too seriously and actually have fun with yoga, I find myself laughing out loud with you, and at times I really need that. You are an amazing instructor that guides each class with purpose. Thanks again!
Tremendous improvement in my plank. Great session. I always wondered about yoga for the back plane of the body. This session covered that perfectly. Thank you.
Thank you, Tim! I pretty flexible after Day 9. Need to work on turning my hands backwards more but great session, as usual. I was sweating after this one too. Finished with guided corpse pose, which was the most relaxed I have felt yet! And, added the 10 minute stretch! Yes! Thanks man!
Yes. It's chilly here in the big C. All the morning reason to start the day with a centering and rejuvenating morning practice. Thanks, Tim. Think I'm back on track with the practice.
This video has been such a treasure for me, thank you so much for the detailed guidance - balancing the anatomy with the yoga philosophy. This video, paired with my meditation practice, has helped me realize how much chronic tension has been stored in my back and a process for gently exploring it and establishing a new posture and way of breathing. I can’t wait to see where these videos take me next!
This challenge has been the perfect level and sessions are a perfect length to do daily as we return to work from holidays. Such a great way to build or return to this habit. Thank you!
This was my favourite class so far. I'm a couple of days behind, but this is my second time hitting this sequence. I'm working on release from a pinched nerve in my L4-5 area, and I felt really good after those rolling up and down with the upper back bends.
I dreamed I had great shoulder muscles due to this challenge. Talk about visualization! Hip lift in seated back-bend almost impossible - an inch if that with kneeling. The hands behind the head roll really opened up my forward bends. Interesting class. Thanks Tim!🙏
I've never heard the chakras described in those two categories: feeling below the heart and thinking above the heart. It makes so much sense and is so much easier to remember now - thanks! - Ray
Still here albeit a couple of days behind. Starting to understand relaxing into the stretches. Amazing as you exhale how you can go a bit further than you thought possible. Big thanks to you Tim for doing this course.
Got caught a few days behind from having the flu, so every part of my body was stiff. I'm definitely feeling a little looser and more mobile now after this practice!
After a bit of a snowboarding slam, my shoulder and upper back are feeling super stiff and a bit sore. This session was just so damn good to slowly open up the various swollen bit back there, breathe some life back into it all. Thanks 🙏
