@@smokinHawkjh thanks my man! any tips you could give on recovery and post after had gone through it yourself and had successfully recover for several years now?
made that myself, welded up some 2x2 angle iron, and some band pegs, cut some stall mats in half, then used plywood in the middle.2 layers of the stall mats and 2 layers of 3/4" plywood.
Hey bro I found you off of your scoliosis and deadlifts vid, I’ve been doing some stretches myself and using the inversion table to counter my curves, just curious on your routine for your curves and what type of scoliosis you have, if you ever want to make a video like that it’d be awesome!
Not sure the amount of curve right now, or type, been a long long time since I have had it looked at. I mostly foam roll and stretch touching toes, retracting shoulder blades
@@jhogan9759 yes I don't have many issues switching other then tearing my rotator cuff a few years back using a 11" wide pad on a combo bench in a uspl meet.
my repaired bicep does not attach as low as the right one now, as the right one extends down a little further. well I have been lifting for 29 years now, lifting resting and eating I suppose, though I don't think I am that big compared to the others I lift with sometimes. I am a lightweight compared to the others in Lexen.
Nice. Very impressive lifts regardless. I'm about 1 year 4 months post surgery. Everything is back to normal besides the small gap and one other thing that is REALLY bothering me: two exercises feel like they are really stretching out the surgery location. Bicep curls and pull ups. I'm afraid to go beyond 5 pullups at once as i feel slight pain/discomfort doing them. I'm afraid I'll tear my bicep again. Same thing with bicep curls. If I curl 50lb dumbbells, I feel significant tension in the surgery area and it just makes me afraid if I overdo it, I'll tear it again. What do you think about this? Are you able to curl weight above 50lb or do pullups and able to do it with confidence?
Do you get alot out of the fat pad? I swear I get 30 pounds but my fat pad is about a half a foot higher up than most narrow low to the ground benches. Or do you bench the same on a narrow bench I know you have always been a good bencher no matter what
