Merrit lipstick lancome and Prada are amazing looking on you they give you an elegant put together look. Lately your videos are making me feel more motivated to put a little more effort on my look in a good way. Thank you
I am really into pinks as well. Sunday from Merit has been my go-to lately. I also tried the Westman Atelier in Minx, but I didn't like the formula ( I like the merit formula better). But now I'm really intrigued about the shade Hush Hush in the Lancome one, it looks like a great alternative for everyday💄🌸
This was really helpful - thank you! Given the great colors, the Prada lipsticks are my favorite. Don’t be intimidated by the Hyper Mattes - they are not drying at all..!
Wow, thanks Bekah for this thorough review and sacrificing your lips. I bought the Merit matte in the color Sunday which is a brighter pink and I like it. The Lancome wasn't even a consideration because not many people talk about it. I will definitely look into them during the sale because that touch of creamiest you described is right up my alley. The CT plumping formula or any plumping lip products are a hard no for me. Have a great week.
Love this video. They ALL look gorgeous on you! I love Merit Maison (think you would too) and WA are on the way. I will definitely look into the new brand; I love a “matte” balmy lip (reminded me of a Hermes matte lip balms). 😍❤️
The Lancome rouge intimattes have been available in Asia for a while now and they’re gorgeous. I love the formula so much. Beautiful finish in flattering shades of red/pinks/browns. And of course the packing is 10/10
@@Bekah_Sun Ain't that the truth. And sometimes they get the good stuff first and it never gets to the US. I have a beautiful Laura Mercier cushion foundation that of course I can't buy refills for in the US. I have to pick up refills in Japan
The WA have gotten just awful reviews for being drying on the lips. Such a bummer if anyone wasted their money on it and also unusual for her to release a product that isn’t perfect. Next on my list is the Prada ones - a good matte is hard to find.
Oh interesting! I generally try to avoid watching other reviews before filming mine to try to stay as objective as possible, but the few reviews I've seen have all been rave reviews. I can see how people may find them drying over time. If it's helpful at all, I'm wearing Westman Atelier Pip in this video and also the Sephora Makeup Recommendations video - almost 3 hours of filming with no touch ups. I've worn it a few times since then too and found it very comfortable. But I do think it helps, of course, to have lips prepped and exfoliated before applying.
I just got my sale order and I ordered a ton of lipsticks, basically most of the ones in this video 😅. I have been wearing one of the new WA for four hours now and I love it. I don’t find it drying as compared to other mattes I own (Prada, Lisa Eldridge, Chanel, Guerlain, Givenchy, Charlotte…) I also have Invisalign and struggle with lipsticks not ending up on the aligners and so far, so good! I think the kaolin clay helps keep it in place. I say if one likes mattes and likes these shades, go and ahead. Sephora will let you return if you don’t like it.
This was helpful since I'm trying to decide on the WA lipstick shade. Out of curiosity, what is your skin tone, if you don't mind me asking? These lipstick colors have gotten such mixed reviews.
@@Bekah_Sun having now tried almost all of the WA lipsticks, I believe we have the same exact lip pigmentation. All three that you swatched appear just like that on my lips. So yay for future reference! P.S. I think I'm going to order Pip and Je Reve
Ah thank you for reminding me! I mentioned the ones I purchased throughout the video but forgot to include in the original description box. Just updated.
