I watched the fight in Japan on PPV or something and my call after the first round was roughly, "If Mike doesn't get him in three he won't and he'll lose by decision. They'll both get tired and it will drag out if someone doesn't land a lucky punch. " I think the time difference and time of day in the arena may have an unacknowledged influence on contestant 'condition'. IMO, James was surely prepared to go at least three rounds and took Mike seriously. He'd gain respect for lasting more than one. Mike was Perhaps prepared for one round and didn't take the match as seriously as he should have. btw, I'm still a fan of Iron Mike since his sixth fight or so on a Tuesday or Thursday night back then if you had cable. Good times.

Jones became to stiff later in his career. After he was exposed for having a weak chin. There was a time his opponents barely laid a glove on him. That Roy Jones is ancient history. Tyson will be landing too many big shots for Jones to have any chance.
