Exactly! And imagine gossiping about the divine Ingrid Bergman without mentioning the love of her life, Roberto Rossellini, the great director and father of three of her four children. Together they generated , apart from a few masterpiece-films, miles in gossip columns -what this channel calls 'a scandal'. In fact their initial liaison was one of the biggest scandals Hollywood had ever seen, with various groups of US religious fanatics demonstrating outside cinemas showing her films.
Exactly. No mention of the numerous male actors who bedded anything with a pulse...not only women. Men judging women and shaming them as sluts, as usual. Came here only to comment. Won't be watching to the end.
joan crawford and him were together the night that his wife Carole was killed in a plane crash, so it is said......so I guess he wasn't faithful to her........
They didn't cheat with themselves though, hopefully you will treat the Hollywood male stars rhe same way you do the females. Scandals, affairs, divas etc.
it is said that she fell in love (?) with every leading man she worked with, she was beautiful in a swedish athletic kind of natural way *to me, and she had a rather secret affair with Gregory Peck which I am jealous of..............but I digress, anyway, her country is sort of known to be free spirited in that department and I thought she was GORGEOUS.
poor baby, died at 26 because her mother wouldn't call in a doctor due to her beliefs.......William Powell was with her for a long time and the last one. she did marry Paul Bern: a 32-year-old film producer, in 1932. The happy marriage was short-lived, as Bern died "suddenly" in 1932, reportedly due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound or rather his ex wife shot him and the studio covered that up real quick. I saw a documentary on it and it was said to be his jealous ex wife but the studio didn't want a scandal, so they staged the murder scene to be "suicide". sort of reminds me of what happened to George Reeves, the original Superman, even down to the jealous ex *a married woman herself who couldn't let him go when he dumped her for another younger woman and the murderess's husband was "a fixer" who covered up the crime scene, took them 45 min. to call the cops? again, got away with murder. alas.
Maybe the woman can't satisfied by the man ,and that's their choice it's there life so what, by the way you forgot one man that sleep to 250 women how came you didn't include him but I nclude Dean instead having a short life that's showing how envious you are to the people you discussed
This is more off a case of a bunch of rich and powerful Lotharios who wanted to sleep with Hollywood stars who were mostly fragile and wanted a half decent man to be in a relationship with. Yet they were abused or beaten or stolen from and left by the man. Most sought solace in alcohol.
What a great Friday episode. Such a pity that young Irwin has taken offence to the mickey being taken out of him. Not a patch on his father. Nothing is more Aussie than having a dig at someone. Im sure if his father was around he would have had a chuckle and told the young bloke to pull his head in. Sadly its all about money now not representing Qld or Aus as a genuine Aussie Maybe he should take a look at all the parodies of put another prawn on the barbie adds.. Grow up young man have a laugh and move on. You have the cheque
Rita Hayworth’s troubles may have started with her father, Eduardo Cansino, a dancer, who was said to have sexually abused her. Gene Tierney was very psychologically troubled and struggled with it most of her life. Louise Brooks, Tallulah Bankhead and Marlene Dietrich (pronounced: mar-LEH-nah)were all well-known for their relationships and they made no bones about them! Joan Crawford was just plain ambitious and would do just about anything to become Hollywood’s #1 Star! Mae West, Sophia Loren and Greta Garbo may have had quite a number of affairs. But Garbo never talked about it, Loren won’t talk about it and West was very coy about it, even saying, “It’s not the men you see me with, it’s the men you don’t see me with!” Clara Bow, Veronica Lake, Marilyn Monroe and Frances Farmer were all said to have numerous affairs. But like Gene Tierney, all suffered from psychological problems. Vivien Leigh was a notorious nymphomaniac! Lana Turner had quite a few affairs and one was even killed by her daughter! “Ruth Bette”? Her real name was Ruth Elizabeth Davis, but she will be known forever as Bette Davis (pronounced “Betty”). Loretta Young was vain and a hypocrite! She wanted all of the episodes of her T.V. series “The Loretta Young Show” destroyed because she didn’t anyone to see her wearing “outdated gowns”! She had her daughter, Judy Lewis, out of wedlock and tried to hide that fact in various ways. At the same time she didn’t want anyone swearing on the set of her films and T.V. shows, even having a box where anyone caught swearing had to make a contribution to it for the various charities she supported. Young was a lifelong Catholic and though she claimed to be devout- even trying to discourage young people from pursuing an acting career by stating that Hollywood was extremely corrupt- obviously wasn’t! Dame Elizabeth Taylor was said to have admitted that yes, she had many affairs- and she married all of them!
Loretta Young was a good person but she was taken advantage of by Clark Gable.........and he wouldn't acknowledge his own daughter........Elizabeth Taylor may have said she married all of them but I beg to differ......she only married 8 of them, Burton 2 x and there was a lot of others.........like that mexican car salesman or whoever he was, she tried to make Burton jealous with and I doubt the number is single digits nor do I care. her parents *it is said, were swingers in England and her biological father may have been one of the other guests. so I read. anyway, she got good genes but her parents were kinda loose in the morals department I guess.
When talking about Tallulah Bankhead why did you show two pictures of Lucille Ball ?Then you Talked about Greta Garbo and showed a picture of Joan Crawford. The stupidness just goes on and on ❗
These ladies worry about men too much to they should have give up trying to find the one and look out for number one they would have being much happier
said to be the real reason behind the feud between her and bette davis, that joan made a pass at her and bette never forgot it and punished her thereafter, I always think of that when I see "whatever happened to baby jane" as she *bette, did a joyously remarkable job of torturing Joan, I find it funny anyway.
