Been using photoshop for 2 years and still found a lot of useful tips! Thanks man some of these are major time savers, couldn’t say how much I appreciate these videos
I already knew some of the tips, but the best one for me: The "R" key to rotate while retouching. I knew there was a way to do that but never figured it out. It makes life sooooo much easier. That tip alone was worth watching the tutorial.
Thanks for the "overscroll" in the preferences because I thought it was a pain in the neck to have to zoom in on an image to be able to move it around. Always good to remind us with all those tips because I tend to forget them. Very useful
I love you! I hated the locked canvas when I was zoomed out and wasn't able to move. I appreciate it. Also for move selection. You can press option and create another selection within that selection or expand in or out into further selection grid too. Very useful if you want to select a specific part and want to select another part within so it won't be effected. Hope this helped! :D
Excellent video, self taught photoshop user for 7 years, and on here was 14 things I didn't know, or will make life a lot easier from now on! Many thanks! Subscribed
Awesome video dude, packed with great content! A tip to add to the rotate trick (#22) is to press the ESC key to reset the view. Speeds up your work flow even more :)
Not only I learned a bunch of Ps stuff but I trained my ear to understand super fast speaking!!! I am curious to know where you are from? I live in Miami and I don't hear this kind of fast speaking around here. Thanks!!
im amazed over and over again you manage to find tips about things ive NEVER heard befor haha nice one ..... photoshop is such a nice program for ages .. but tutvid made it awesome
Great tips and tricks. As always a clear, concise and down-to-brass-tacks run through. Now I have like 10 mini post-it notes around my monitor to help me remember these 😆
Hey!!! This new background is insane man, been following your videos for quite some time now. and I must say, this one is edgy... keep it up, and more power to your channel!
I noticed on the camera raw filter there wasn't a perspective transform tool on the top bar. Could be an annoying update, but any way to add that or find it?
Very useful. Thanks. As regards Tip #6: you can also change the value of the Opacity and Flow values to single digits by clicking on the Opacity or Flow boxes (their outline will change to blue) and using the Up or Down arrows. For instance, by pressing 1 as per your Tip, the value of the Opacity will change to 10%. Say you want 6%. Click on the Opacity box and then press the Down arrow until you get 6%.
That's a cool tip! I bet you can Shift + tap the arrows as well to jump it up or down ten at a time, too. I'll have to play with this. Never done it before 😵😆
Tip no. 13: You can even save some more time and effort by directly using the crop tool - up in the bar you can use the ruler to straighten the image and it already crops automatically
Great tips as always, thank you. What I ask myself and what I'm looking for since ages is rotating a sampled area like the edges in tip 17. Sometimes an edge changes it's direction and I have to chose another sampled area very often to refine the edge furthermore just because only it's direction is different. But often there is no suiteable portion of this edge with the right direction to sample and I go crazy. Do you know how to rotate a sampled area while using the healing brush?
Go Window>Clone Source and use the little Rotate Clone Source option to rotate the brush head for the Healing brush and the Clone stamp brush. Thanks for the kind words!
