Pokemon really do not need to make more. They already have enough that deserve the love way more. So many feel unfinished or have so much potential. Jinx needs love and so does Wingell line. Taillow line. Slugma, with its horrid speed, but it's such a fun Pokemon. It does provide a nice challenge. To play with less popular Pokemon. Always did that as a kid.
Some of these are not needing new evolutions, just fine tuning of their BST or new Typings that make more sense, or even access to different moves/abilities
People need to watch this full video! Loving your ideas on how to update Gen 6, 8, and 9 Pokemon specifically. I hope Gen 10 goes all out and brings new evolutions and maybe even more wild, a new type.
Huntail and Gorybyss would be neat! Also Sudowoodo. And I know we got a mega, but I want a new Pinsir evolution. Commenting before I watch to see if we had some of the same picks:)
tbf i would love to see Lapras get Duraladon treatment and get a 600 BSP evo, bonus points if it has magic guard BTW lore wise, since Lapras became so common some of them evolved in order to control the heards
That’s a great tie in to its Dex entries! I can see it “Lapras was once on the verge of extinction. Now with the boom in population [insert new evo name here] became the leader of these new herds.
Half a gen ago, I would have thought that Lapras was a weird pick for a list like this due to its high bst, but then Duraludon into Archaludon happened. They could go the full mile and make a pre-evo that looks like the water starter from the Gen 2 Beta, then make a 600 bst evolution with small differences - maybe even give it a design similar to G-Max Lapras that just emphasizes its already existing features.
imo, some old pokemon need to be reworked like sunflora, plant type to plant/fire with better spe atk, better stats and a new talent (with sun/weather ?) golduck water + psychic type or rattata & rattatac with a talent buff every bite-move, and balanced stats pokemon designers have not touched the old Pokémon since their release and with all the strategic and competitive dimension that the game has taken, many of them have become obsolete
Delcatty's pretty the much the only one I'll agree with you on, simply because as it stands, it's a useless Pokemon with the potential to become quite good/popular due to its cute design.
Good question! I didn’t include any of the early bugs partially because I think they’re supposed to be bad from a gameplay perspective. Plus I’m just not a big fan of Ariados.
