'Delilah Green doesn't care' is one of my favorite wlw romances! I want to be a throuple with her and Claire!!! The books that followed in that series were also good but I feel like the first one was the best by far

if you haven't read any abby jimenez books yet, I'd highly recommend picking up part of your world and yours truly! as a huge emily henry fan, a lot of what I love from her books is present in abby jimenez's books, but they're also completely their own unique experience

'Delilah Green Doesn't Care' by Ashley Herring Blake sapphic second chance romance (bonus it has a couple of companion novels, similar to Get a Life Chloe Brown) "A Restless Truth" by Freya Marske, Regency era historical sapphic romance "Read Between the Lines" by Rachel Lachey, similar to Book Lovers by Emily Henry. Sapphic friends to lovers romance.

Most Ardently by Gabe Cole Novoa! It is a new release this month. It is a trans/queer Pride and Prejudice retelling written by a Latinx transmasculine author. The author announced yesterday that the book hit the NY Times best seller list. I adored this book!

So many good queer romances! Two I always recommend are: Outdrawn by Deanna Grey-two rival comic artists are forced to work with each other on a big project for their company. And for my historical romance girlies, An Island Princess Starts a Scandal by Adriana Herrera-it’s a sorta second in a series that follows our mc on a “last romp” in Paris before she has to be married off. Both recs are sapphic (I pretty much only read sapphic/lesbian romances) and written by BIPOC authors!

Tw: ableism. 📚 📚 📚 While I first enjoyed "the Kiss Quotient", I got VERY irritated +annoyed by how often the term Aspergers was used. 🙅❌ Hans Asperger was a doctor in Nazi Germany, who researched autism and took part in the euthanasia of disabled people. I know a lot of people don't know this. And I assume Helen Hoang also didn't, but she as an author has a responsibility towards her readers. It was very triggering for me to see the term Aspergers used alongside autism.😢 As an autistic person, I'm always looking for neurodivergent representation, hence why I picked up "The Kiss Quotient". But I couldn't see past the use of ableist language.

What lovely recommendations!! Thank you!! Also . Can anyone please help me by telling me what's the difference between spicy and steamy? I want to read as least smutty books right now as possible.

Savvy Leiser here on RU-vid is an author and I know she writes with queer characters. In addition, she writes under a pen name for romance books (but she hasn’t shared what that name is yet).

I would like to recommend “Forget Me Not” by Julie Sotto (my first 6 star read for 2024). I plan to read more light and fluffy romance books for Feb (love month) and also to clean up my old TBRs - Book Lovers. Happy Place. Yours Truly. Spanish Love Deception. Love Theoretically. The Kiss Quotient and Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Dating…

I would highly recommend reading “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak if you have not already! It has a romance sprinkling in it, but is historical and in my opinion tells such a beautiful story through metaphors and imagery💜

I just read The Kingdom of Back because of your recommendation from a video from a long time ago and I’m so glad I read it! I loved the magical writing and learning that Mozart had a sister who also composed music. Thank you for the recommendation 💙
