technically they've never had "such a killer game"...this was a franchise record. So therefore it hasn't been a long time it's only been a couple of hours
Lots of teams have the voice he isn't special .... But watch out tomorrow the Rockies might blow them out of the water being beat that bad has to make a team angry
What a night!!! Congrats on the record-breaking franchise runs scored per game. Amazing performance by Renfroe and Moniak as well as a nice Trout-Drury-Thaiss back-to-back-to-back HRs! Welcome Escobar and glad to see you back, Fletcher 😁
We feel you Rockie fans. We lost 33-3 back in 2007 or something. I feel your pain. Just look up most one-sided matchups in MLB history. Welcome to the list. - Random Orioles Fan
This is really crazy yet so historical to witness the Angels destroy the Rockies in what was a franchise record of 25 runs on 28 hits. Plus no team in SoCal has ever had 13 runs in one inning. That’s insane record breaking stuff when you think about it
So great to see Fletch back with the team and such a boost to have someone like Escobar in the clubhouse. Now add Moustakas to the mix and the Angels infield depth is stacked again
I flew to Denver from SoCal for all three games in this series. My voice was gone for a few days after this game. It was incredible being there!!! Rockies fans were very pleasant and I had great conversations with many of them. I cant wait to go back!
It’s confirmed that Ohtani only goes into the GOD mode in a tight game. We have to see him in the postseasons this year. It looks like the Angels are the buyer this year and going all in!
for context, David Fletcher was JUST called back up from AAA that day. He then hits a 2 run single, then has two outs in the same inning, then smacks a 3 run homer despite having one of the lowest average exit velos in major league baseball, then gets another single. WHAT A GAME FOR THE ITALIAN STALLION.
Craziest thing is that it was all off actual pitchers. Rays caught a lot of flack for giving up 20 to the blue jays but 10 of those were off our catcher and utility guy lol
Just looked it up and I swear these scores make no sense, both this game's and that Rays v Blue Jays' scoreboard, but especially the Rays one. Besides that one weird base diarrhea 20 run game Rays actually took 3 of 4 games in that series, like what are they bad or are they good. I thought these score differentials only happened back in the 1800's lol.
@@NotSomeJustinWithoutAMoustache The rays thumped the jays that series but that game went down 11-1. Once you're down that much you can have your position players pitch to save your bullpen arms. The jays hit another 9 runs off our catcher and Luke Raley lol.
Offensive explosion from the Angels. Too bad Ohtani couldn't join in the fun. This would have been the perfect opportunity to finally hit for the cycle that has eluded him twice.
Lol...now and then I phone check mlb for scores, I wasn't listening to game...3rd 13-0...wat?...a bit later, like 7th, 25-0...I went out for a snack, just to listen to Terry and Mark go on and on on the car radio-they're the best...so glad for Fletcher!😊
The game wasn’t on my tv so I couldn’t watch it live but man I was glued to the scoreboard all night, absolutely insane performance from the angels tonight🤯
@@JAFrk Forreal😭 Saw the score at 15-0 and looked at the inning and it was only the 3rd, thought that the inning wasn’t updating or something but no, angels were just crushing it🤣
The Colorado Rockies players, this particular game they will never forget longer this player live, because I will never see 25 runs in a game like that
This was my first baseball game. I was disappointed to find out that Ohtani wasn't pitching and he didn't hit a homerun, but still a great game to watch. Half the stadium were Ohtani fans.
This match is a perfect picture of how Rockies season has been going. It totally fell apart on them! At what point in the smashing do you just shrug your shoulders and consider it game over?
@@ColoradosBackyard there were very few points in baseball history that the Rockies were any good. They definitely need to be sold. Big city with a lot of fans deserve better. I remember when they were at the world series vs. the Red Sox. I was rooting for them so hard, but then they got stomped, so even in their finest moment... They had to be the sacrificial lamb.
