Call me lame, but last night I wanted to see the Roost. So I went in, sat down and watched Brewster pour a cup. The music mixed with Brewsters soft voice made me so nostalgic that I cried. I remember playing Wild World as a kid and the Roost always made me feel happy.

This is in no way lame man. It happens to me all the time, i mean it really is an insane feeling when you love something so much that it just hits you right in the heart. It’s probably one of the best things about loving a game or a franchise or anything like that. Just that feeling. Anyone who thinks that’s lame is probably the lame one

tbh i hope he stays being relatively untalkative, it would be nice to have a character who has/is coded to have selective mutism and/or alexithemia (i hope i spelt that right lmao) but it would be nice if he talks a tiny bit more and shows a bit more emotion towards us!!

#26: After completing enough of the Happy Home Paradise DLC, check your Archipelago beach at the beginning of a new day, you can find bottles with new DIY recipes there!

You can also wander the island and find some stone stools at the top. They give you AMAZING angles of the sky! It was stunning!😍 Also, grab some vines and those glowing weeds from the Archipelago island, free stuff! 😁

There is also, once you progress enough (12+ homes) you'll unlock a facility that you need to check daily as they will give you a DIY cooking recipe

#26: talk to Brewster every day and drink the coffee hot! After you do this for a few days, it unlocks some new dialogue from him! He also gives you a clean cup to drink from.

One of my favourite new items is the museum posters you get for every section of the museum that is complete, I have the fossil, bug, fish, and sea creature posters and they look so good all put together in my house, just need the art one now which could take a while, I’ll be getting redd on harvs island tomorrow so hopefully I’ll start getting more new art pieces to donate

If you have time try to do at least one paradise design a day. Since the items can be pretty pricey! Biggest tip I enjoyed was people rushing and time traveling to get everything. I enjoy just playing day by day with patience’s and unlocking something new each day

Make sure you fish! You can learn new recipes when catching certain ones (like sea bass, red snapper, dabs, etc.)

@@tamarasorbo1550 I wouldn't say that it is, but it does give you new features and whatnot. After playing for a while, you'll get the DIY for partition walls. I'm not sure about the counters yet, but if I find anything I'll let you know.

They really delivered with this new update. Sad to know after this it's probably business as usual, with maybe a few new items for seasonal events, but oh well. I have been time traveling a day forward, back to present, forward, etc, just to go on Kapp'n trips and farming (literally and figuratively) new materials and DIYs. Already have all my new crops, but with everything you can make (desserts, breads, etc) and all of the new items they have, along with all the customizations, possibilities are great for new island designs and updating old ones are great...coming from someone who still has just a flat island with nothing else lmao. I'll be honest I'm still most excited about all the storage space :D

One of my favourite parts of the update is the stretching actually. And how we can participate with motion control. I find myself doing it at least once a day. It's really nice to not just watch it, but participate in it, see the character miss the right times with you etc. 😂

Additional tips: checkin with villagers, exchange poki, check the resident services storage bin/lost and found,buy something from wardell(Paradise terminal) and check in with whatever npc is on your island ( K.K,Redd...etc

At first I was disappointed with the café. After calling someone to drink coffee with me, I was sad I couldn't have my own cup of coffee at the table to sit with them. UNTIL I just watched your video and saw you can get a TO GO cup. I do wish I could get an actual cup and sip it slowly with the villagers.

Also Katrina’s fortunes aren’t there for just fun, I’m pretty sure that the “luck” feature is back in the game. One day she told me that my luck with money would be high, so when I shook trees on my island, they gave me 300 bells instead of the normal 100. I’m so sad my money tree wasn’t ready then because I’m pretty sure I would’ve gotten 3 times the amount!

I bought the game pretty early. Last month I started getting back into it. I never wanted to look at any media about ACNH because I didn’t want spoilers, but a friend of mine showed me some Island Tours and that inspired me so much. This video was randomly recommended to me and I am glad I watched it. I already do a lot of these thing, but others are very helpful that I don’t do. I enjoy your format, quality, and your commentary. It makes for very easy listening (and watching). I absolutely love that you said to take the game at our own pace, and to drink water and take care of ourselves. You do the same :)

I'm so sad, I went on a Kapp'n boat ride and forgot to bring a ladder and of course it was a bamboo island so I couldn't craft a ladder and I wasn't able to get my gyroid because it was on the second level :(

If the island has palm trees you can get wood from those. Maybe not enough tho since you only get 12 wood total and the type you get is random.

Might be bad RNG. I was able to get new items the first day, but the other days when I time traveled, it was stuff I had already. Keep checking everyday!

I love your island! I had restarted months ago and started doing a NorseGod/Zodiac/Farm/Cottage/Fairy Core island but got bored so quickly that I stopped playing and I’m kinda glad I did! I’ve been super excited for this update and there’s soooo many new items that will actually fit my theme so well but there’s also so many other items I want to use that wouldn’t fit the theme and now idk what to do! 🤣

i took a break from animal crossing twitter yesterday because it made me not appreciate the cool new items i got and instead yearn for all the cool items i havent gotten yet. 😂 it was a little overwhelming seeing all of it haha.

Wait to get to go coffee do you just need to buy enough coffee or actually go into the roost enough times because I have bought so much coffeee but only been inside the roost like 3 times but he has not given me anything!

If it's like previous games it counts one coffee per day, so any more you buy don't make him like you faster

After so long Wardell will let you freely order anything you have access to when you design for clients, which is AWESOME for quickly getting the items you've been lusting for to finish your own builds and house Probably my favorite feature so far!

I got the cherry blossom island and got my very first cherry blossom recipe! I was happy to see the blossoms but knew it was a waste on me with nothing to do with them… till like you say the recipes are dependent on your isle!! Loved that

As much as I hate to say this, I’m not a huge fan of the roost. Acnh is my first ac game and seeing how you used to WORK at the roost in new leaf seems like so much fun so I was a bit disappointed when we couldn’t work there. You also can’t really do much other than buy coffee and invite villagers with amiibos. I know they said this was their last update for acnh but I just wish they could add something more for the roost. Other than that I’m happy with the new update!

You have to talk tk Blathers and he asks you to find Brewster for him. Then you simply have to talk to Captain to bring you to an island and Brewster will be there ☺

This might seem kinda weird but I like to clean up all the sticks and weeds on my island everyday so that it feels more well-kept and clean for my villagers and any visitors or campers on my island.
