The only problem I have with it is it"s quite top heavy, I'm 67 and not in the best shape to hold it up it very long. I bought the saw a year ago, and it has been great. Bought an extra chain and battery. I'm set.

Hey Pete! Yes your right about it being too heavy, I know I try not to use it too much reaching high. I really like it for camping and just using the chainsaw, nice and quiet and convenient :) I appreciate the comment, take care!

@@OhioHillTopsHobbyFarm , I bought the other pole saw today. Looking forward to seeing how it feels while reaching up and getting to work.

Nice tool Dave, I'd like to have a set-up like that, I wish DeWalt made a inexpensive saw like that, only because of all my 20 volt tools I already own. I'd like to keep it all the same brand to many chargers Lol 👍

Thanks! Yes it seemed to work real nice for the price of it, I know what ya mean with the batteries. I’m going to look into adapters so you can change battery brands tools/batteries with each other.

I bought one similar a few years back but mine is strictly a pole saw. The head on mine swivels which makes cutting high branches easier as u can cut down from the top without binding. Best 100 bucks I ever spent. Battery on mine lasts about 45 minutes, I can’t remember what brand mine is but very similar to yours. Thanks for sharing Buddy, I’m sure you’ll get plenty of use from it!

I’m sure that angled head sure helps! I know from the minimal use of had with it I feel it’s going to be handy for the small yard jobs. I appreciate ya watching buddy, have a good week!

It's top heavy especially when fully extended so not as good as a dedicated pole saw BUT the fact it can be used as just a chain saw I think is worth the hassle for the savings in a 2 in 1 tool. I've cut some large limbs down with it at max reach. I cut and chopped up 3 very large branches 8 - 9" in diameter on the 2.0ah battery before it needed to recharge. I would recommend a second battery since the included charger is basically a slow charger. It's better for the battery but it doesn't exactly recharge fast.

Yea it is a bit heavy fully extended. I bought it mainly for the electric chainsaw to use while in trail riding with my utv, seems to work really well! I appreciate you watching and commenting, take care!

I believe Oregon has a chain designed for electric chain saws so you don't get so much chattering

That would be helpful, it wasn’t as bad on the cherry and poplar but man it sure didn’t like that maple 🤠 thanks for watching!

How heavy is this tool? I already have a pole chainsaw that is just to heavy for a woman, bought it two years ago and can not use it any more.

It isn’t very heavy but I will say with it extended all the way out it still is cumbersome.

I've looked at it before, but the WORX is way too much consumer grade engineered plastic for me to even consider. It's a throw away item as far as my needs and uses. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I would agree that it wouldn’t be a good fit for someone needing to frequently prune or cut a large amount of wood with. However I will say for the price point and to do the yard and trail work I need I’m totally satisfied. Thanks for watching and commenting, take care!
