Just as a suggestion… when talking to someone who has a mental illness, don’t ask them to imagine bad things happening to them or negative scenarios… you never ever know what she’s been through… you could’ve been a trigger for her and thrown her into a crisis. JS be mindful of things you say. Some people are walking on a tight rope, and the difference between walking and falling can sometimes be a “harmless gesture/intended helpful gesture”. There’s a difference in the way the mind works for someone with a chemical imbalance/mental illness than for those who are free from mental illness… ya’ know what I’m saying? I commented because I believe you are genuinely attempting to help her… I work with people with mental illnesses… just giving you pointers. A lot of time when we attempt to help others, we actually make them worse than they were before. She may not have taken any notice and maybe it didn’t affect her negatively…. But it could have. That’s all I’m saying.
This woman is beautiful, everyone is beautiful in their own way but mental health doesn’t care what you look like. I hope she gets the support and help she seeks and needs. Beauty fades but mental health is something you have to upkeep!

Marcus has interviewed every relatively attractive homeless black woman in Atlanta multiple times. I am sure there some homeless dark skin fat sisters with stories. It is unfortunate, he and us have base our empathy and interest on how women looks.

Brother Marcus has to do a better job of listening when conducting his interview. She clearly stated she was staying in a VA facility early on. Therefore, he shouldn't have been surprised when she stated her former military status 😉.
I just have a feel to believe her. Not everyone he interview is lying, she just seems really intelligent to me. Not everyone on these paths will work a "job", which may be the reason she chooses to have streams of income.
It was an ok interview it just started to sound like he was interested in her in other ways . Then when she wouldnt listen he started sounding like her step dad . This women has a loving family like she said before . It was like he was forcing his point of view and it ruin the whole mission. My oldest has Schizoeffective Disorder which is Schizophrenia and bipolar and it's not something to take lightly. My daughter father never told me he had Schizophrenia until my daughter was 3 and started acting crazy. So just because this young lady is pretty their is a 50/50 chance or more her kids will have mental illness too. As a parent of a 25 year old with mental health issues and having to deal with it her whole life you don't want that trust me because it's hard keeping them safe and knowing when they are having a mental break. So just like knowing people sexual health status know people mental health status too. I wish her the best and I hope she stays safe.
@peacefaith560 oh wow,this is something that should be addressed all of the time .My daughter's grandmother on her dad's side has schizophrenia since she was 25 /26 and she skips taking her meds at times and that is when she goes back into episode mode and she's unbearable 🙄I asked the doctors while pregnant is it a chance of my daughter having schizophrenia as well and as was stated 50/50. And the great grandmother had it as well ,mental health is serious

Which means that you could be "perfectly" fine when your not having one! I am speaking from experience. I'm currently an intern for mental health counseling. She is in her late 20s but her emotional intelligence seems like she is still a teenager. This might be a good day for her, but she still shows symptoms for sure. I'd look for resources to help her WHEN SHE'S READY TO BE HELPED.
See this is my issue with this channel. As much as you want to help by giving these stories a platform, the lack of professionalism leads to exploitation. These interviews sometimes come off inappropriate because he lacks the ability to discern when the questions aren’t helpful to the goal of getting these people help and getting them off the streets. I understand wanting to get the truth but he came off a bit creepy.

She said it. She was in a year and had a psychotic episode....ie..she was medically separated and now receives a disability check (residual income). In that year, you have basic training, technical school for your job, and your new assignment possibly. Not much else she could have done.

It is so painful to listen to his line of questioning. Full cringe! Glad you helped her out, but people should do their research on how to handle people struggling with mental illness. His questioning shows he has zero clue of what he’s doing.
She is better but still unstable. I have mental illness in my in my family, it’s a long struggles for life. They get off/on their meds/therapy so continual instability is inevitable. I pray GOD keeps her well🙏🏽💖

I think she is still "Slightly, Mentally Unstable". She definitely needs to stay close to her father and family! Her "Mental" condition should be more "Realistic". I pray that God "Always" protect her and keep her from harm.
I venture to guess that since the last time she was on, her parents ensured she was medicated. The fact that she constantly puts herself in precarious situations is a clear indication that she’s not completely there

Everyone I know in my family that is a little Mentally unstable NEVER Admits it! They don’t see what we see they are doing or hear the words we hear they say!!!! Sounds like she do a lot of auditions and acting gigs. I have several friends that moved here to do the same. Hope she stays out the streets and also gets a plan B and C.
They're definitely the last to know. It's not necessarily denial. I don't remember the medical term but sometimes ppl with schizophrenia are unable to comprehend they have the illness.
