Today we are doing a tough 27 MIN Orange Theory Inspired Tread Workout. If you have never been to an Orange Theory class, we highly recommend it! The treadmill section is usually half the class with the other half being rowing/floor exercises. Let us know how you like it!

PUSH PACE: 3 minutes - 5.5 - 7.5 mph

I’m 57 and have dropped 25lbs thx to Ibex running and training by mind eliminate sugar and seriously cut carbs. This morning my wife told me that I’m looking great - is there better motivation than that?

I never thought I’d enjoy running on a treadmill I always saw it as boring. I love this training! Thank you! A year ago I couldn’t run more than a minute or two now I’m going 30 mins or more!

#3 in the 7 day IBX challenge (see IBX's playlist) - done. I saw this one on the channel, but didn't run with it because I had my two lunchtime favorites "endurance run for weight loss" and "25 min treadmill HIIT (declining HIIT)". Switched it up today and did this Orange run followed by Rachael's declining HIIT. Good sweaty combo. I love Rachael's question... what are you trying to accomplish? It made me think... what would I be doing if I wasn't on this tread addiction? Hmmmm - wasting time surfing the net... staring in the refrigerator... NO buddy, not going back there. In the last year I've dusted off the treadmill and am down 35 pounds to a svelte 118 lbs. and stronger than ever! Yes I have to be my own cheerleader, but THANK YOU THANK YOU for IBX Running and Carolyn Girvan's RU-vid channel with her strength training EPIC programs. As Veronica says... "LET'S GO RUNNERS!!!"

This was the first time I've worked out/ran since getting severe lung problems which in turn cause depression last year. Even though I was basically dying half way through 😅 Watching you and listening was really great, I used to go to the classes because needing someone to motivate me Is essential but because of my lungs I can't go anymore.. you have done just that for me again.. which i can't thank enough for.

Love this workout and thank you coach Rachel for talking me through this and going harder then i would normally do. Getting back to working out after health set backs is hard since I always feel like I am going back to square one and you make it so much easier.

It’s almost a week I found you videos. I’ve done a workout using IBx for 4/6 days this week. I’m going to do another one tomorrow. I have been in the biggest rut for a while and I feel better than ever. Thank you! Saw my abs peaking through today. Tomorrow will day 5/7 days

Honestly I run around 5.3 mph average pace and this was hard. I made it through half the session but will definitely come back again tomorrow. I really like how fast the 10 mins went by for me.

This was AMAZING!!! I kept it going every minute, I just couldn't believe how I was still running and didn't feel a crushing fatigue. I am definitely going to repeat this workout next week. Thank you so much, Rachel and IBX!!!

I am new to running on a treadmill. I am unclear how often you change the incline setting in this workout. I see the entire workout listed the incline as 0.5%, but I'm not sure what that means. Do you increase the incline each time you switch between base and push? Thanks.

Hi Janine! Welcome to IBX Running! We are so glad you found us. For this workout, the 0.5% just means you keep it at 0.5% incline the entire time. This is just to make up for the fact that on the treadmill, you aren’t running against any wind resistance like you do outside. So the slight incline makes up for it. We have a many other workouts where we are changing the incline throughout the workout, such as our hill workouts. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi 👋🏽 I have done orange theory workouts before ! The base, push and all out to achieve 12 splats in a 60min class really worked for me :) Will give this a go tomorrow AM. I am sure it will be ace ! Thanks for posting these videos !

Hi Janine! I would probably advise most people to at least give a day break in between this one as it’s a tough one. But as long as you are listening to your body, you can certainly do it every day!

Loved this video but it was so annoying to watch. My AirPods kept messing it up and then after the ads it would switch to a complete different video! I had to pause my workout at least 10 times because of this issue.
