Hey Xaryu, what do you use for your second ring of azerite traits? I've swapped to gutripper instead of heed my call, but both still seemed to break dragon's breath instantly after I cast it. I'm thinking I should just go one of the passive secondary stat traits instead

Fire mages still needs the double crits to cast instant pyros. Greater pyros are more to bait kicks/juke kicks (force a dps to kick you so they won't have it to interrupt an ally), something you can use in your down time when you're waiting for fireblasts CDs to come back up, or you might even be able to cast one pre-burst onto an enemy to get a cheeky 35% hp dmg. Your main burst is gonna be coming from single target meteors and instant pyro chains though
I was always wondering why fire mages dont do that. Just spamcast greater pyro whenever nobody is sitting on them, and you know people wont be able to LoS it.
Daym man u playing mage so freaking good. You could carry the biggest pve noobs to glad. I love that mages have the potential to carry games, not all classes can do that. I regret that I have never leveled a mage

greater pyro is 1/3rd of whoever it hit's health. it doesn't crit, it only hits for 1/3rd of their max health. Its been that way since the ability was put into the game several years ago.
