I remember when alot of people said shit like he's just simulating this. And that all his crying was fake af. Like wtf - anyone that knew their story knew how much Byron meant to Mitch. And his new video just proves it, because after almost a year, it still hurts him. He still mourns the loss of probably his best friend.
For those people commenting and making insubstantial claims about how Mitch is baiting donations/faking it or that it's his fault that reckful decided to take his life, you really should reflect on what you are actually saying and realize that you are contributing to this negativity that streamers have to deal with on a daily basis. You aren't helping anyone by spreading hate and strong arming harassment. In the end we're all human and Mitch has really shown that he valued his friendship with Byron, stop acting like you know their relationship as if you were directly involved in their lives and spreading baseless rumours. In the end of the day, we're grieving his loss and that's all that matters right now.
I agree, I didnt like Mitch after hes and reckfuls breakup and he can be cringy here and there, but people who say hes baiting donations are fucked in the head. The way mitch opens the settings and tries to turn off the music right before the tauren theme really hits is so crushing. My favorite piece of music from the entire soundtrack, it really succeeds at communicating spirituality and peace but at the same time it's also always drilled into my mind with the sound of mourning tauren in the background. Most 9-5 jobs require you to be sociable to a certain extent but on Twitch you are only socializing in a virtual world. Communicating with people in person can be therapeutic and helpful for growth. It’s obvious that most top twitch streamers have social deficiencies and it’s important to attempt to mend that flaw if possible to improve confidence.
Came here after Mitch's EP, god damn I love his music. I'm not sure how to describe how music from the heart sounds so pure and speaks to our hearts. Seeing Mitch grow and heal from his music is only heart warming but acts as a healing process for me too with my past, Byrons passing and forward in life to what doesn't appear to be better times.

Mitch definitely isn't the best person but none of us can say we are good people either. People make mistakes and regret them and it's heartbreaking for me to see two people that never were able to make up with one another. Learn from Reckful's death, what you say on the internet is not healthy and leads to negative reinforcement of preconceived notions. As a longtime viewer of vods of Mitch I've constantly seen chat get to him too much, creating an ego for himself due to popularity and being belittled by chat for entertainment. It's easy to say, "well it's just random people on the internet" but in reality it becomes very hard to create a conscious separation.
I can feel mitch's pain, i was in a similar thing. He is 100% genuine in this. I know the music in the background is causing the emotions, i cant even watch this without crying and im a grown man. I remember seeing The Law/ Arcane Dream and Anticide back in cata, it was so fun and so good. Best moments in wow. It’s hard for people to wrap around that Mitch is serious here. I had a friend that acted similar, but when something happened he never tried to leech for attention (or donations in the case of Mitch). That would feel morally wrong and if anyone has a sliver of good in them, doing something like this would scar them everyday for the rest of their life. I hope you’re getting through this Mitch, the community is here for you and everyone else. Crying just knowing the pain that when reckful finally had a brother, a person like David (Mitch) fill the hole of emptiness of his brothers death. For Mitch to make a mistake in ego and fame and put Byron to not trust him and break their connection. Sadly in truth, it was debatably the big factor to his Loneliness and depression revisited by loss of that relationship. Truly tragic and I feel for mitch. Glad in the end, even if learned the hard way. That the simple things in life matter the most. Loved ones and for purity in living and for passion.

@brian Ok. So basically. 4 months ago I was on asmongold stream when it all happened. So I went to watch a video called “the history of reckfull “ or something like that where it summerised all the things that this streamer did to his friend. So I thought “wow, this guy is a leech”, not that being a leech is something bad, I mean, if the strategy works cool. The problem is that it’s a matter of respect. It’s kind of like cheating. You think that guy is your friend, but actually he has a motive to be around you. Later I watched this video and it enraged me. Of course I was already pretty mad at all the people who got a kick out of mocking and cyberbullying a depressed man. And I felt for him becouse I got bullyed while being depressed some years back. So I became a little bias towards Byron. But now 4 months later, I still believe in respect to those who disserve it and if you are going to mourne a friend. You should do it by canceling your stream for the day and twitt it. Going to the only area in the game that has such emotional music and crying infront of hundreds of people is living towards those same expectations that reckful had about him when he cut him out of his life. It’s a scummy way to do it. And it’s not only about what he did. It’s about what he said. Repitedly “I feel so guilty”, yes I am bitter by putting it on this context, but man.
