Congratulations! You deserve it. Now that you have time to breathe, take a moment to feel proud of yourself. You will never forget this moment and all of the hard work you put into everything leading up to it. There's nothing worse than following a series to reach an end where they give up on the car and sell it, so you definitely wrapped this up in the best way possible. This has been a long journey.I started my 2 Datsun Z restomods same time as you. I'm almost finished. So you going to a Car Show makes me know " I am next!" I wanted to know how your LSD felt and behaved over the standard. What traits did you notice right away over your welded diff ! Does the rear feel more,tendency to stay straight or does it want to come around easier? Anyway I'm happy for you and your ,girl friend ,you both have built a great Z!
Ask me in another month or two when I get some more “spirited” driving under my belt. So far I’ve just street driven it so not much opinion on the diff other than it’s working. Needed to replace many of my mounts as they were shot and causing problems. Future video.
