The aluminum and butyl adds mass, which stops the metal from resonating but really does nothing for blocking the noise. The foam mat you got is for actually killing the noise. The foam really needed to be a little bit thicker to be truly effective. Nice job overall though👍👍

Lol true that. I'm so happy with the car. The diff is doing good as far as I can tell. Draining the fluid, maybe pulling it back out and inspecting it is on my to do list. But right now its doing great. I still wonder if I should have upgraded the washers but, maybe I will when I pull it back out for a check over I will.
