I bought the same kit at Aliexpress for €22.00, Installed on my DCT Tour 2021, and it work great, better elbow posture, no more straight arms and short turns are a lot easier, the sitposition is much much better, I cut the plastic cover and fits also fine.

Hi Robert. Thanks for stopping in and watching a video. The kit that I purchased never came with a cutout guide. After I watched other videos on line, I decided that cutting the cover was not an option for me so I left the cover off. I thought the cut covers didn't look good and didn't do anything to help the situation. Now everything is clean. I can see the kit that I installed and can easily put everything back to stock if I decided to sell the bike. I hope that helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me. Larry, thanks for the video. But I am confused on these (and the original HeliBars). It looks like the new bolt holes are farther forward from the original holes. So how can that move them rearward? With my hands on the stock grips, my arms are not long enough for my butt to reach the backrest!
Hi Gary and thanks for checking out the channel. I think I can help you with this issue. I never noticed that my video thumbnail has the left and right brackets switched when I took the picture. Sorry about that. Next go to 0.40 seconds in the video and hit pause. The left bracket is mounted in the handlebar original position. Now your handlebar will mount at the bolt hole by my finger and the top right hole. The holes are moved forward but the angle moved the grips more toward the rider. It works well and I love my Riser Kit. Now I sit at my backrest and my arms and shoulders are relaxed. That is great. Did you have any problem with the type of screws that came with it??. I had an issue they would not fit and foud that they are of a different threat trait.

Hi and thanks for visiting the channel. I still have the riser kit installed and completed a 5k km trip yesterday. This kit took the pressure off my shoulders because my arms are more relaxed now. is that thickness about 13 mm , have you cut your plastic plate ? That's great because through your video, I learned how to secure the mount of my Insta 360. You are smart to stick it on the brake master cylinder. Is your bike the 6-speed manual version?@@goldwingmoments
@@meomunvnn , thanks for your comment my friend. I also had trouble finding a 2021 Goldwing. After having the air bag, DCT model on order for months, I gave up and had my deposit returned. At that point I found this bike which was six hours away from me. I actually had a dealer take pictures and send them to me. I purchased it sight unseen and picked it up a week later. I love the blue and was unable to find one of those at the time. If you asked me, I would say the blue is actually the nicest color for the Goldwing. Ride Safe.
@@meomunvnn , I am not sure about the thickness because it's been so long since I installed the kit. After watching many videos I just decided to leave the plastic cover off. I think that looks better than a modified cover. This way everything still looks clean and you can always put everything back to original if you ever decide to sell your bike. My Goldwing is the 6 speed manual and the mounts on the brake and clutch reservoir caps work great. It's so easy to move the camera from left to right quickly. I have even switched them while riding down the highway. (I don't suggest doing that). Have a good evening.
No locktite on the kit I installed. Just install and torque. I am not sure about older model bikes but I would hope it would be in the instructions if needed. If I was going to use locktite, I would go with the blue. (Not the Red). Blue is easier to take apart later if need be. Enjoy your day, Larry.
