Dudeeeee I started a water fast twice this week and failed. I was super discouraged and decided I'd give it one more go starting today. This podcast just help me out big time

I had a martial arts instructor who suggested to start shooting from retention. Aim is not really important for the first few shots, which are more to quickly apply pressure.

In regards to the knife stuff.....I'm pretty sure in the U.S. statistically, you are more likely to die from a knife attack than you are getting from shot. At least when it comes to violent crime and random attacks. But that trainers trainer is definitely something special lol. I'm taking gun all day. I practice my draw to first shot. I don't practice my knife draw to first slash for a reason.

Only way I would go for my knife over my gun in that scenario is if for some reason I wasn't carrying with one in the chamber and I'd have to rack a round first. Otherwise I can't see how that makes any sense.

If an Armed attacker has grabbed my firearm and is preventing me from shooting him. Is it smart to waste time fighting for your gun when you have a knife you can draw? Remember that the attacker not only has control of your firearm but he is also armed with his own.

Great podcast, it went the exact direction I expected, everywhere... Just a note on Jake's hesitation to discuss evolution. The informed religious, meaning everybody that agrees with me 😅 understand that the Bible does not say it's incompatible with natural selection, and things evolving through time. It's simply saying that Darwinism is false, and how it suggests things began. And that is why science no longer holds to it, and still calls it. A theory. Resources which point towards how a young Earth is possible in which natural selection is something that God ordained.

In reference to the pledge of allegiance topic, I see his point. However, I respectfully disagree simply due to one thing in there. "and to the republic for which it stands." To me, that's signifying what this country was founded and not the actual nation/government itself that can go tyrannical. If you take that part out and you're strictly pledging allegiance to the flag itself, which is what's used on every government entity, then I would agree and wouldn't say it either. With the way it is currently written, I proudly say it. If a civil war broke out due to a tyrannical government, I would be ripping the 🇺🇲 patch off of every government official we'd come across since they would no longer represent what that flag stands for. And if we were successful in ending the tyrannical government part, I would want the USA restored to what that flag truly represents. Kinda went down a rabbit hole there, and that might be a oddball way for me to look at it. But, that's just how my brain works. 😂

Karl Erickson's (Tactical Rifleman) credentials are WELL known and verified. And that was a one minute short, taken from a video that was longer video. Simply makes the case for having a fixed blade accessible on your kit. He believes in transitions to pistol. He teaches transitions to pistol. It's pretty evident you 1. Are completely mistaken as to the specific (and yes, it was very specific) scenario to which he was referring and 2. Have certainly never been in such a scenario. You two really should take better care not to just start throwing shade left, right, and center. It's certainly not going to help your brand, or your reputation.

Slightly different situation but this women is literally fighting with a man who could possible over power here and still has enough time to fire multiple shots.
