Yeah, But what's the point of doing that job if he's not interested. If he's financially weak & have no other option then I get it. But at that age most of the people are financially stable & if that's the case and he's still doing that job then it's weird.
@@lonewolfe2502the vast majority of jobs are meaningless labor. Maybe that's the only other option for this guy given his education and prior experience. Lots of people end up doing something they don't enjoy to get steady pay.
I like the old chef in glasses. Speaks the truth, no BS to hype people up or try to impress folks, just straight up the truth about how he feels about cooking. A job is a job, you don't have to like it to need it. Maybe a lot of chefs DO like their jobs, but I'm sure there are also lots of them who just talk BS to look/sound better in front of people. 😆 👍
The Chef in glasses was brave to admit it straight into the camera 😂. I find it cool, that he didn't sweet talk. Not everyone likes their job, but have to admit, I thought, that most people would sweet talk, so they won't sound bad /ungrateful. Even more respect for that Chef, that he stayed for almost 60 years 😮! I am not sure, I would have been able to do the job I don't enjoy, not to mention for over 50 years OMG.
Old and young gather together. What a lovely place to spend time with friends😊. Kind of remind me of that show ib Netflix, MIDNIGHT DINNER. It's unfortunate that it there's no plan for them to be renewed...
36:51 That chef was keeping it real. No nonsense, no bravado, no crazy high morals, or validation seeking. He's doing a job and that is that. I got to respect his honesty.
