By any chance did you ever get a clunking noise coming when you drove over bumpy roads or simply uneven roads?

I didn't get any clunking noises. My suspension would bind up and I would lose all damping control in the front. If you have clunking noises, that would be something shaking loose. I would check your suspension components, like your ball joints and wheel bearings in addition to your coilover setup.

Ciao scusa sono italiano, volevo chiedere, io ho montato assetto D2 per la mia golf 6r, la parte anteriore va bene, ma la parte posteriore anche che regolo il dumping, la mia auto risulta sempre con troppa escursione dello stelo posteriore, andando a toccare dentro alla carrozzeria, non riesco a risolvere e sembra sempre molto molle, già salendo su un marciapiede, tocca la ruota dentro. Nonostante sia messo tutto su hard. Non riesco a risolvere questo problema. L'assetto è nuovo.

@@xxghostriderxx1484 Thanks for commenting. If you have contact with your body work under full compression, it is one of two problems. First would be your bump stop to prevent suspension travel hitting the body or second the coilover is set up to low causing your vehicle to hit the bump stop often. Increasing the stiffness of your damper will not limit of suspension travel. I would look at the bump stop and possibly reevaluate how low the coilover is set. I hope that answered your question.

@@grumpyvetgarage grazie della risposta, ora ho circa 3 cm di ghiera esterna, e la molla molto tesa, quindi mi consigli di aumentare la molla? Di alzare di più? Come faccio a ridurre l'escursione che ha questo coilovers? Perché si la macchina è bassa, però la misura è quella che mi chiede la legge, e nonostante questo l'auto continua AD essere un disastro . Io devo riuscire a capire come fermare prima questo ammortizzatore... È corretto che per alzare l'auto lo si fa alzando la dalla molla e non dal Coilover? E sé posso chiederti, per il posteriore che nella mia golf molla e coiover sono separati, a cosa serve allungare il Coilover? Che funzione ha, sé per alzare la macchina bisogna lavorare con la molla? Grazie del tuo prezioso aiuto
