This is such a common problem with these cars I felt it needed its own video to glaze over what works, what doesn't, and why. I felt it was necessary.
21% of the video is recycled, but the entire VoiceOver is all brand new and wholly-focused on the problem and solution rather than making a parts list or doing an unboxing. I paid someone else to do this work for me 20 years ago but finally had an opportunity to do it all for myself.
I could have made it only 6 minutes, but I wanted to cover the whole topic for the sake of others with this problem to search and find all of it in a single video. So I showed the difference in what happens separating the bearings with and without an axle stuck in the hub to solidify the point about greasing splines, and I went a little above and beyond with the press example to illustrate what your parts will and won't survive while approaching this. The parts for these cars are vanishing daily, and maybe we can slow that down if we just show the jobs that fix these things that aren't immediately apparent to the people restoring them? I know MANY people out there have already dealt with this, it's happened to me twice on this car, and the solution is even easier than I made it sound when I previously discovered it, so I wanted to clear all that up.
